As my wife Delores was holding the flag during our morning presentation of the colors flag-raising ceremony at Camp Patriot (that's what I call the flagpole area near my driveway), the paper boy delivered the Freehold Truth and Light to our door. Imagine my glee at reading about the fires in California, drought in Georgia, Turkish troops amassing at the Iraqi border, the Bush administration threatening Iran, oil topping $90 a barrel, Mr. Horowitz sharing the truth of Our Epic Crusade to Topple the Global Satanic Threat of Violent Islamofascism(r), reports of a new Obama bin Laden tape, problems with Russia over our Godly missle defense system, more dead than originally reported in the Pakistan suicide bombing, the collapse of the housing bubble causing millions to lose their homes, the US Government retrying Muslime "charities," and the proposal to give telecom companies amnesty for possible illegal activities in assisting Godly President Bush with his spying program.

During our flag-raising ceremony this morning, I stood just a bit more erect as our Godly flag unfurled in the glorious Freehold morning air, and I good-naturedly chewed out Delores for not saluting smartly. She will be required to clean the latrine downstairs bathroom with a toothbrush.

I'm always inspired by Brother Worthington's posts, he always has a way of putting things in their proper perspective. Just when I am feeling down about the possibility of the LIEbrals winning, and Harry Potter advancing the homer agenda, the Holy Spirit moves someone like Brother Worthington to write something uplifting. This thread should almost be titled "Society's Ascent Toward Armageddon".
