    God's willingness to provide

Brothers and Sisters, I have been thinking a lot lately about the hardships of the economical situation we are facing in this country. I’ve given all of this a great deal of though, and God lead me to my Bible, and there I spent many hours reading and praying about this topic that plagued my heart. Should we worry about food, clothes, a house to put over our heads or have faith that God will come through for us if we ask and praise him?
    Matthew 6:31-33
31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
God tells us that we will be provided for, if only we follow him and try to walk in his shoes and be just as righteous as He. I believe whole heartedly that Jesus will provide for you, and your family so long as you have faith in him and walk that straight and narrow.

2 Corinthians 9:8And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Philippians 4:19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Things might be difficult, having the money to provide a house and home for your family may be hard to come by, but have faith in your Heavenly Father and he will give you everything that you need to survive.
    Matthew 6:26
26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

    Re: God's willingness to provide

    Amen, Brother Beck.

Give to God and He will give back ten fold. God promises and never reneges.

So many of the Unsaved© and other trash are unwilling to wait and prove their devotion. People think if they leave a five dollar bill in the offering plate, they will find a twenty in the parking lot right after services. That rarely happens. God holds back until you have proven yourself, then the riches of life flow like Niagara Falls.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

      Amen Brother!!

GOD is indeed righteous. The folks who struggle these days are without a doubt sinners who deserve their fate - It's not my job to judge the poor, but I think most of us know where many of them will end up on judgement day, right?.

        Re: God's willingness to provide

Exactly, It upsets me when people use "Well, I'm poor, so God must not exist" as an excuse. If they would just put their faith in God and accept Him into their heart, then every need will be provided. They say good fathers provide for their families, well God is the best father in the world so He provides fully for his His children.
