Hi, my friend has recently been getting into alot of this "psychic" stuff, and I was wondering what exactly is a psychic?

If they aren't prophesying in the name of the LORD, then they are people who talk to demons.

Deuteronomy 13: 1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,

2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

If the guy (or gal) says to follow other gods, then you should stone them.

Well his family is catholic but I am confused, forgive me if this question seems a bit silly or dumb but what exactly is the difference between a catholic and christian?

Christians worship God. Catholics follow dogma.

Most (like mother theresa) have no belief in God whatsoever.

Catholics think they will get to heaven based on their rituals. (rosary, hail mary's our fathers...) christians, True Christians(tm) are doers of the Word.

One group goes to heaven (christians) one group goes to hell (catholics).

Catholics are no better than mudslimes, hindalus, mormons or budapests.

Don't worry. The unsaved often ask this question, and we are more than happy to answer it.

Christians do the will of God. Catholics do the will of a doddering old ex-Hitler-Youth in a dress and Prada pumps.

Matthew 7:21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
