Heaven, it'll be worth it all.

Things may seem bad now, but I remember something.
No matter how bad your life seems , at least you're not on a fishing boat in the Bering sea.

I remember another guy telling me when we were chest deep in cod guts and the sea was rolling and we were slipping on the ice about 14 hours into the shift, "Kind of makes you look forward to your next traffic jam, doesn't it?'

You see, we knew the misery would end and things would be better than ever, and they were! We had a full load and made good money, and the Church got a good Tithe. If we had given up and ceased our toils we would have gotten no reward.
Life is like that. You work hard for the Lord and you get a reward. If not when you're burning in Hell, you'll say, "I wish I was on a boat in the Bering sea."
    Matthew:
5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled
10:21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Boy I'll bet that smelled to high heaven. I just hate the smell of fish. Except those fishburgers they have at Godly McDonald's....

I've never worked like that. Come to think about it, I've never worked in my life. Right after graduating from LBU, I joined the team of Pastors here in Freehold.

That boat thing sounds just awful. I can't even imagine.
    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Re: Heaven, it'll be worth it all.

It was bad, really bad. To think that hell will be many times worse makes me pray and keeps me on the straight and narrow!

      Mark Chap 1
16": Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

"17": And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

"18": And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

"19": And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

"20": And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.
