Change in the Texas pledge...for Christians!

In schools down here, after we recite the Pledge of Allegiance we say the Texas Pledge, which goes like this:

Honor the Texas flag, I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one and indivisible.

Well, recently they changed it to this:

Honor the Texas flag, I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible.

And there are those who want to take "Under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance. I think this is proof that won't happen!

I pledge Allegiance to the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders, illegal immagrants (however you spell that word) that you let cross in this state so easy, and the bad tex-mex food!

While Texas includes such liberal wastes of space as Dallas and Houston, it is a shining example of what the Godly red states can achieve without liberal interference. After all, it was from Texas that Jesus hand-picked His favorite President to rule over us. Praise!
