You understand it in the way that a Star Wars Fanboy, stuck in his bedroom at his parents house, thinks he understands the universe from watching the work of George Lucas. He has not left his room and his dvd collection to see what reality is like. You with your bible are very much like him and his dvd collection, you may have the full special edition boxed set but it still has nothing to do with reality.

Since multiple people wrote it over an extended period of time, it has had to undergo some rather desperate retconning. The Bible, by contrast, is God's Word and wholly trustworthy.

Since Paganism predates Christianity, I think it is obvious who they stole the idea from.

Since Adam and Eve were the first people, and they knew God (and therefore Jesus) personally, obviously Christianity was the first religion. Then by Noah, it became corrupted. God Cleansed the earth but it became corrupted again until Jesus came. Now it's bottoming out again, so we're expecting the final cleansing (Armageddon/rapture) any time now.

Adam and Eve weren't the first humans. They were the first Jews.

Not that it matters, since all humans except the eight on Noah's ark were exterminated in the Flood. We are all descended from Noah.
