What a silly analogy. The Star Wars series is a work of fiction meant to make money, in which poorly drawn characters act out contrived plots in unrealistic settings. Since multiple people wrote it over an extended period of time, it has had to undergo some rather desperate retconning. The Bible, by contrast, is God's Word and wholly trustworthy.

Re: A Question: Do You Wear Robes?

Since Paganism predates Christianity, I think it is obvious who they stole the idea from.

have noticed the popes robes, he wears a fish on his head. And his staff has a pinecone on top of it. It is said that the pinecone represents creation, due to the logarithmic spirals it promotes in it's architecture. Which is basically the same logarithmic spirals found in sacred geometry.
Lies are just as good as truth is everyone believes them.

Since Adam and Eve were the first people, and they knew God (and therefore Jesus) personally, obviously Christianity was the first religion. Then by Noah, it became corrupted. God Cleansed the earth but it became corrupted again until Jesus came. Now it's bottoming out again, so we're expecting the final cleansing (Armageddon/rapture) any time now.

You don't read your Bible at all do you.

Genesis 5:4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
How many children do you think they could have had in 800 years?

As for Cain's wife, she came from the land of Nod.
Genesis 4:16-17 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.

I had to look that one up, Pastor. Thanks for forcibly expanding my vocabulary!

Retroactive continuity (often shortened to retcon) refers to the deliberate alteration of previously established facts in a work of serial fiction . . .

That's because the Catholic cult is descended not from Christ but from the cult of Dagon, the fish god.

I guess you never read Genesis 1. I do realize that reading the first chapter of the Bible before telling us what it says is expecting a lot of a nutjob like you.

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Adam and Eve weren't the first humans. They were the first Jews.

Not that it matters, since all humans except the eight on Noah's ark were exterminated in the Flood. We are all descended from Noah.

We've made the same points repeatedly to demonstrate that the Roman institution is not a True Christian™ church, but instead teaches warmed-over paganism. Is the search function not working for you?
