Why is it that theres an advertising banner for a documentary claiming there was no Jesus on this website. Seems fairly counter-conducive to the whole point, am I right? Or is this the heathen-logic inside me taking over? Sometimes I fear it.

Well it's a pretty simple way to separate the heathens and believers. God is watching your every click! Think of it as the first level of God's filtration system, from there on it gets tougher. Though, I wouldn't call your thinking heathen 'logic', as that's a bit of an oxymormon. Perhaps heathen 'ignorance'.

I have never seen any ads like the one you are describing.

The ads are served by Google. They match your Google cookie to your past Google searches, to find things that you are likely to be interested in. You are seeing anti-Jesus ads because Google knows that you hate Jesus.
