    Is a RIM job Godly?

Today, my 16-year-old nephew Jacob called up, all excited. Seems he was at the mall, and fell into conversation with a man at the food court near the men's room. He's a very outgoing young man, so I wasn't surprised.

Well, Jacob told me, the man gave him his very first RIM job!

I asked if he thought that was a good thing.

"Of course it is, Uncle Rod! All the kids at school are so jealous. Kevin asked if I could help him get a RIM job, too. Remember Jessie? She tried to get one but got turned down. But not me, the guy just walked up and told me that I looked like the kind of MAN who could handle the RIM job he was offering!"

So, I asked how it went.

Not only did he have a great time, he gasped, but they even PAID him to do something that really felt great!

Well, I congratulated him, of course, but I'm not really sure about this whole thing.

He told me he works in a little booth at the mall. He sells the Blackberry smartphones cheap -- only $20 -- but he gets a commission on each 2-year contract the buyers sign up for. Phone's not worth much without service, you know. He's very into technology, so loves explaining all the bells and whistles on the different phones. Over and over and over. And he likes helping people find the phone and service plan that best meets their needs.

So, is Research In Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) a Godly company? I don't know a whole lot about them. I admire his work ethic, but I don't want him getting caught up with one of those pro-gay-agenda companies like Ford, or one that would have women in charge of men.
    Bible boring? Nonsense!
