I made this account on this website because I wanted to learn more about your beliefs and what it is exactly you are all hoping to achieve. But. Whilst I was browsing through the various threads in this forum, I have never been so appalled in all of my life. In various posts you claim to not be intolerant and/or racist, yet from what I have read, I beg to differ. Alot of the users on this forum are filled with such a blind hatred for alot of things they do not even understand, condeming these things without question. If you beleive that we are all going to go to hell for it, let's keep it at that. Don't get me wrong, I am not dictating your ways of life, I am simply curious.

"By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws."

That is a quote from your forum rules, being a respectful person I will try and abide to them as best as I can. But, when I read some of the posts, I have never seen so much hatred in written form in my entire life, using play on words to describe other religions or even people in a disrespectful manner (I.E: Mooselimb, Nigra, Catlicks. etc.), I hope you do not judge me in a simular way for just questioning. Forgive me if I am wrong, and I didn't want to use bible extracts, but. Didn't the bible say to love thy neighbour and love thy enemy more, doesn't it also say that you will be judged on how you judge others? (I am sure that alot of you have a by far greater knowledge of the bible than I do, because obviously alot of you have studied it more than I have). Yet so far the message I have gotten from this website is that you aren't worthy unless you are; White, not homosexual and Christian (Again, please in a polite way, correct me if I am wrong). Me personally, I have not condemned anyone, regardless of who they were, what religion or race, as Christians, I came to believe that you were supposed to be a very understanding, tolerant and forgiving group of people. However from what I have read, this specific church is quite the opposite. Also according to the bible, God has granted people free will, why can you not accept this term and let bygones be bygones?
Could you please answer me, why is it that you must feel you must respond to others like this?

I have attempted to address you (the forum readers) in the most polite way I could regarding this matter, please do the same for me.

See this is exactly what I am talking about, blindly condeming people. I have come here to learn of what should be a relatively peaceful culture, then for no apparant reason I have a hateful remark thrown my way. Nothing I said even resembled homosexual behaviour, I was simply making a point and asking a question, where is there any wrong in that? I find myself asking

Thanks your reply Brother Temperance, I found it very informative, which is more than I can say for the other replies that got from this, but why is it (sorry if I sound on the harsh side) that you don't see intolerance as bad thing? Don't you think the world would be better if people were just accepted for who they were, regardless of whatever they choose to do or believe. I can understand your thoughts of trying to save as many souls as you can from an infinite of damnation and I respect that, yet it seems that a few of the users on the website don't seem to take the same attitude as you do, rather than explaining their belief they would just hurl abuse at people, do you know if there is any reason behind this?

It doesn't matter what I think, it matters what God thinks. As for tolerance, Pastor Isaac Peters says it better than I could.

We use a wide variety of tactics in trying to bring souls to Christ. Some people respond well to sweet-talking, others require more abrasive preaching techniques to wake them up.
