Dear Friend,
Recently I contacted you regarding our calendar year end $5.75-million fund drive. I know we have a shared goal for Family Research Council to finish 2007 on budget and ready for the many policy challenges still ahead.
You may recall that I informed you of the generous $250,000 matching grant we received from a dedicated husband and wife. He will match every dollar FRC receives between now and December 31st with one of their own - doubling your impact!
As one of our most loyal friends, you are someone we've counted on for support. If you haven't had a chance to send us a gift, will you please do so today?
We are making progress protecting your values in Washington, D.C. but we still require your help to meet our goal. FRC needs your gift - post marked before December 31 - to help fend off the attacks of the left-wing majority in Congress and its allies next year.
The Left has promised a fierce assault on the pro-faith, pro-family, pro-freedom movement. Their campaigns for pro-homosexual "hate crimes" and employment (ENDA) laws, the misnamed "Fairness Doctrine" and medically useless embryonic stem cell research are relentless.
FRC is counting on your continued prayers and generosity. We must enter 2008 fully equipped for the legislative battles that will surely ensue.
With your support we can stop the Left. Breakthrough research, significant arguments, solid accountability on Capitol Hill, funded grassroots pressure and a powerful media presence are just some of the strategies FRC executes better than anyone, when we have the necessary resources.
Please return your best gift no later than December 31st and the $250,000 matching grant doubles your gift! We must meet the entire amount or we lose any dollar we fail to match. But I know I can count on loyal friends like you, to ensure that doesn't happen.
In the coming year the pro-family movement will face many challenges but with your continued help our resolve will not falter.
Please return a generous gift to help FRC reach our $5.75 million year-end goal by December 31.
Thank you, God bless you and Merry Christmas!
