  • I'm back

    Hello Landover,

It's Silver Cougar (Roy Fielding) again. I've been away celebrating Christmas with family in Omaha, but I'm back. I may still be away for New Years and New Years Eve. We'll just have to see.

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas like I did. I was good for Santa and he brought me a new set of fishing rods. I am happy and blessed.

    In His Grace,

    Roy

    Re: I'm back

Hi Roy; it's nice to see you back and I'm glad you enjoyed your holidays. Personally my family doesn't do the Santa thing as we believe it is a secular creation to destroy Christ. Just another trick of satan.

Have you ever seen this Roy...

    Satan = Santa

First time I saw that I just about crapped my pants. I ripped down every Santa decoration in the house and replaced them with different pictures of Jesus. The kids didn't understand at first but now they're going to the mall and witnessing to the children waiting to see Santa. A lot of the kids cry when told they'll go to hell for sitting on Santa's knee but I feel they're doing the right thing. They're going to make good Christians one day.

Welcome back, Roy. There's always room for Christians here at Landover.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Welcome back Roy. What kind of fishing do you do? I like flyfishing myself.

I have a 1/2 acre pond on my estate stocked with rainbow trout.

          Re: I'm back

A warm welcome back, Roy! I for one can feel the True Christianity™ deep inside of you, and I have been praying hard for the Lord to slice away the Godless liberalism Satan seems to have infected you with.

I know in my heart that you mean to come to Christ, and I believe you will cast your imperfections aside and propagate His Light.

          Sincerely,
          Magna, née Magnus
