    Hello.

    Hello brothers and Sisters. My name is John. I AM a Christian Therapist. And many people seem to be frustrated with there sexuality.

    I usually help them to find the Lord, or take them out of homo/lesbian sexualities. I came here to be apart of a Christian Forum.

    But I was kind of disappointed about the Front Page.

    It reveals allot of Sex, Naked, Homosexuality, and evil things.

    But the forums are set out quiet nicely.

    If you have any struggles with sexuality issues, or Biblical issues. Feel free to come by and ask me some questions.

    Welcome, friend. I'm a pastor, and as such I also do a lot of counseling.

    Glory to God! Why don't you share some of your success stories with us?

    Since I got saved, I no longer have any of those sorts of troubles, praise God! I do have a few questions for you, though.

    How long have you been saved? Where were you when it happened? What version of the Bible do you read? Have you hit the PayPal button yet? What are some of your favorite passages in the Bible? Tell us about your family.

    Upon request I will cite scripture for all these facts in God's Holy Word.

    ✝ This is a Christian community and we worship GOD of the Holy bible, the only Living GOD. We worship Jesus Christ, Son of GOD and Savior. Anything else is absurd. ✝

      I have been saved since 1990, when I was at a bar. (yes, I used to be at bars when I was a wicked lost sinner). An old man came up to me and we started talking to each other, and discussed are lives. I was moved about his very biblical story and I decided to look more into the Bible.

      I read the New King James Bible.

      The PayPal button? No, not yet. If its a donating system, I do all of that in the Church I attend.

      Some of my favorite passages are:

      John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

      Romans 1:16-17: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”

      Psalm 1:

      1 Blessed is the man
      Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
      Nor stands in the path of sinners,
      Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;
      2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD,
      And in His law he meditates day and night.
      3 He shall be like a tree
      Planted by the rivers of water,
      That brings forth its fruit in its season,
      Whose leaf also shall not wither;
      And whatever he does shall prosper.

      4 The ungodly are not so,
      But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
      5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment,
      Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

      6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous,
      But the way of the ungodly shall perish.

      Psalm 5: 1 Give ear to my words, O LORD,
      Consider my meditation.
      2 Give heed to the voice of my cry,
      My King and my God,
      For to You I will pray.
      3 My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD;
      In the morning I will direct it to You,
      And I will look up.

      4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness,
      Nor shall evil dwell with You.
      5 The boastful shall not stand in Your sight;
      You hate all workers of iniquity.
      6 You shall destroy those who speak falsehood;
      The LORD abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

      7 But as for me, I will come into Your house in the multitude of Your mercy;
      In fear of You I will worship toward Your holy temple.
      8 Lead me, O LORD, in Your righteousness because of my enemies;
      Make Your way straight before my face.

      9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth;
      Their inward part is destruction;
      Their throat is an open tomb;
      They flatter with their tongue.
      10 Pronounce them guilty, O God!
      Let them fall by their own counsels;
      Cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions,
      For they have rebelled against You.

      11 But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You;
      Let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them;
      Let those also who love Your name
      Be joyful in You.
      12 For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous;
      With favor You will surround him as with a shield.

      There are many more great passages in the Holy Bible.

      My Family. Hmm. I grew up in California, which I remain. My Father was a mail man, and my Mother was a baby-sitter. When I was a kid, I was the one that got bullied around. No one liked me, and I was very non-athletic.

      In my teen years, I attended a High-School in Sierra. Very nice place, though they teached falsely.

      When I was about 20, I started getting into Collage and Be apart of bars.

      I never got drunk, but I did use to drink.

      I have 1 brother, and 1 sister. My sister is currently a worker for cell-phones, and my brother is a soldier.

      I have a beautiful wife and 2 sons. Which are 5 and 6 years old.

      My wife home schools them, as I do my Job as a Therapist.

      I am very proud with my active family, and God has truly blessed me.

        I'd recommend sticking with the original. Take a look at this.

        I like those passages too, but I prefer them in context.

        John 3:16-21: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
        He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
        And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
        For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
        But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

        God does love the world, but that is not the main point of this passage. The main point is that we were all lost sinners, incapable of doing good, and that the whole world was already condemned. God sent His son into the world that whoever believes in Him could be saved. Belief in this context doesn't mean "mere belief", as in simply accepting that the message is true. It is more in the sense like believing in a cause. James' epistle proves that mere belief is not enough.

        Romans 1:15-23: So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
        For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
        For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
        Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
        For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
        Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
        Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
        And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

        Every one of them is wonderful. My favorite passage changes every time I read the Bible.

        It does sound like God has blessed you. Be sure and thank your brother for me.
