I personnatly would not refer the "Beach Boys" as "extreme", but he might. So yes it can be, compared to what you listen normally.

I only listen to Christian conservative talk shows on the radio. I consider music to be mostly noise. I guess Christian Rock could be acceptable for the younger generation, as long as the band doesn't sell their souls for more money and mainstream radio play. I mean, look at that Scott Stapp fellow!
