Re: Is it much fun being a Christian?
It says that Christ was partying, not working in his step-father's workshop or doing some other menial work.

Re: Is it much fun being a Christian?
Where does it say that Jesus was having fun? All I see is that He was at a wedding and His mother got all yappy with Him and He told her to back off. Maybe Jesus had had a bit too much to drink that day and it made Him irritable. That happens to me sometimes too.Originally posted by narrowpathy View PostJohn 2

Sounds like much fun to me... But the problem is it happened two thousand years ago.

Re: Is it much fun being a Christian?
Fun is not what motivates True Christians. You don't read any stories in the Bible about Jesus "having fun," do you?
The alternative to being a Christian is unthinkable. I love Jesus because He commands me to. Glory!

Re: Is it much fun being a Christian?
When a pastor is on FIRE for the Lord and delivering a sermon with a passion that can only come from the Holy Ghost, why, I can't think of any place I'd rather be or how it would be possible to have more fun!

Re: Is it much fun being a Christian?
It seems like an aweful waste of time if you spend this entire life preparing for an "afterlife" that may or may not be there. Just cause a bunch of people wrote a book a thousand years ago promising a "heaven" just to prevent people from enjoying themselves. What a waste.
