Can a woman on welfare be liberated?

forget that liberation is a crock for a moment....

Can you be on welfare and still be considered liberated? If you are raising four snotty

nosed kids who have four different fathers, in a cockroach infested council flat dump…Are you liberated? Can a woman have ideas of equality and value if she is some welfare bum getting the dole? Now I hadn’t considered this before but it is a good thing to think about.

‘A liberated woman, one would think, would want their children to excel and being on social assistance is not the mark of a liberated woman as far as I am concerned. A woman who wants more for herself or her children would not be on welfare.’ "A modern woman's quote"

We are just exploring it a little.

This is a council flat in America. Not bad huh? Looks nice and well maintained. I’d never believe it was welfare housing if I hadn’t been told. The modern “liberated” American welfare mum can live here if she wants.
If you are unemployed and leaching off the government, bleeding the community, if you are standing in the soup line or at the food bank, are you liberated? Should you have the right to vote? Should you have the right to serve on a jury? Do you have the right to speak publically on an opinion? If a woman is unable to make a relationship work and is forced to take her squalling horde to the local Human Resources office in order to feed them and put a roof over their heads…what rights does she have exactly? Obviously she has the right to be fed because the government sees to it, same with shelter and other amenities such as clothing and medical.

Here’s a plain but certainly sturdy British house for a person on welfare. Not too attractive but it is solid and available (or others like it) , to women in Britain. Did you know that in some areas of the world a woman on welfare may turn down an offer of work or marriage because she can collect more on welfare. That a woman can continue to pump out kids because each of these little buggers give her extra cash.

Now certainly there are disabled people. People mentally or physically unable to work. These folks get a set rate of disability paid to them monthly. They do not get extra money for having no babies to drain the system. These folks have to also usually purchase a bus pass from their limited funds and if they want a little extra cash are forced to work for it. We are talking about people who are unable to work now not people who can and do not. Most homeless people you see are ill or unable to properly work and they have to live in boxes whilst these bloody fat cows eat kraft dinner with a roof over their heads. And they want to be thought of as modern liberated women!
The mentally ill sure as hell don’t live in this welfare home!

I find it kind of hard to consider that a legitimately ill person does not get any additional money. I find it rather callous of the governments involved that ill people have to really struggle. One is almost wanting to tell the truly ill…have babies!!! Pump out kid after kid if you want more money. Pump out more babies if you want to be a modern liberated welfare woman!
Framing the poor? Not at all…The poor need to be protected and helped. The people who are unwell need to be looked after. Folks who work and just get by on minimum wage need to have stops and balances that help them. I admire people who try to make out with the little they have and want them to get the benefits when and where applicable. No argument from me.
Can welfare recipients train their kids to be more responsible? Can they train and educate their children to give back to the community or do they in turn (most likely scenario) continue the drain on the funds available. Did you know that most programs designed to help the elderly retiree (someone who has worked all his or her life) are almost empty of available cash? Where do you think this money has gone then? Who do you think has frittered it all away?

Sometimes these women do get off their fat arses and they find work and do you want to know what it invariably is? They join advocacy clinics…they join street shelters. They basically keep promoting the lifestyle they have liked. When they do this kind of work they are often hailed as welfare reformers…oh no…don’t get the wrong impression. They are reformers for more cash!

Here a man, obviously unkempt and perhaps even homeless looks for work. This is to be admired and I hope this decent fellow found some. He was physically unable to pump out child after child (like so many slothful women) so he could sit in front of a tv and watch Oprah and be truly “liberated” like lazy fat welfare slobbo.

Why would any woman go on welfare when she could work on Pastor BJ's 900 lines? You get to talk and "toy" at the same time (24 X 7).

You have to move to Iowa, though.
    Come climb my mountains.

I don't just think that women on welfare can be liberated, I think that they should be liberated. The same way we liberated Iraq.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

of course if we did that they would all be whinging about their special rights and there would be no end to the moaning.

This all came to a head in my mind when I was shopping last weekend and had a bit of an altercation with a rather large woman who was taking so long to count out her stamps.
When I finally politely asked if I could just pop in front of her with my one loaf of dairy rich butter bread she had a supreme fit!
Shouting and carrying on that I was rude and shovy and then went on and on about being a woman and liberated and all that rot...

well that's when I shoved her aside and threw some money at the cashier (who probably also considered herself liberated) and stormed out of the store.

Who does Jesus hate more - liberated women on welfare or liberated women who steal jobs from white True Christian men?
Who is more obnoxious to God, a liberated woman on welfare or Hitlary Clinton who wants to have a man's job?

You know I have pondered this since you posted it and I really do not know. It's a given He cannot abide that she devil communisticsododyke hellery. You know I am going to have to cop out here and say He hates them all. There are so many scriptures and laws being broken by all the actions of these "people".
I think this is one of those times when you just shoot the lot and let God sort them out.

Bless you both. Interesting perspectives all around. Have you ever wondered how much cheaper it is to eat off the sinful dollar menu at McDonalds versus a wholesome meal? Thoughts?
