    Tricking for Jesus

I am not sure how I feel about this so I wanted others opinions. While I know that ''hooks'' are used on occasion to get sinners attention but for someone to do magical tricks while delivering a Sermon, almost borders on getting in league with the devil to keep someones attention. Personally I don't understand how anybody can hear the Word of God delivered by a powerful orator and not be transfixed. When I think of Wizards and the bible, images of Idol worshipping, Jesus Killing, spawns of Satan whose staffs turn to snakes come to mind.Or is this just me?

This magic show is put together as an option in a Evangelical package offered by The David Young Evangelical Association of Heath Ohio. They seem to be real professionals in the Soul saving variety even if I am personally not comfortable with the magic involved
    sigpic 1 Chronicles 16:15
Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations ... an everlasting covenant.
Proverbs 30:5,6: Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

    Re: Tricking for Jesus

Friend, I saw the title of this thread and I got worried! For a second there I thought this was going to have something to do with flirty fishing, as it's not uncommon for prostitutes to describe the act of having sex for money as "tricking."

    Or so I've heard.

Anyway, the mind of a non-Christian is already so filled with illusions that I figure maybe it won't hurt to expose them to a few more, as fantasy and illusion are the only language they understand.
