The following was just brought to my attention, and it sickened me:
I am reminded of the following:
Note that dumb, in this case, means "mute."
It's a shame this young man's demonic possession did not render him mute, but an even greater shame the American Idolaters did not love the Lord, and love this boy enough to rebuke the demon inside him, as Jesus would have.
Or at least give him a lozenge. He sounds like he needs one.
I am reminded of the following:
Matthew 12:22
22Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
22Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.
It's a shame this young man's demonic possession did not render him mute, but an even greater shame the American Idolaters did not love the Lord, and love this boy enough to rebuke the demon inside him, as Jesus would have.
Matthew 17:18-20
18And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
19Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
20And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
