    The benevolence of the Lord!

We all know that Jesus blesses the True Christian(tm) who strives to do His will:

Ruth 2:12 The LORD recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.

So I thought it might be a fine thing to get together and share how the Lord has shown his conditional love

Today I was very late for work as my wife was away on a trip to that London (doing what ever under secretaries do) and so I had to wash my own clothes and make my own breakfast (I swear, it matters not what 'enhanced motivation' techniques I use I cannot seem to break her of her foolish obsession with politics)

So after dealing with the fire and wearing yesterday's clothes I was running late to get to work. Normally the bypass I uses to skirt the centre of the city is chock full of heathens, tooting their horns (not in that way ) . I knew I would be late and as I'm on my last warning at the Perveral Park WC (due to the misunderstanding with the mop, but that's not for here).

Anyway, as I always do I said a quick prayer to the Baby Jesus that I would not be fired this time. With not a little worry (as I'm constantly beset with worry that I'm not worthy to waste God's infinite time and power with my lowly problems) I sped off to work.

Then, praise Jesus: over the wireless a traffic alert informed me that there had been a rather serious accident on the bypass, closing off my side of the road. This may not seem much but it was just before the junction where I join the bypass! Not a sight of any other traffic and I sailed into work and arrived bang on time!

Trully God is great! Smiting unGodly scum and saving me from the sack!

    Shouts Glory!

Who else has God blessed recently?

1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Glory, brother. Truly God is great - helping a True Christian and smiting heathens with one move. I'd like to see evolution kill two birds so efficiently.

As I am not Saved it's a rare occurance that God deigns to notice me and I can only dream of the sort of help He will be able to provide once I am truly saved. Occasionally, though, his aid does help me - doubtless He is protecting a True Christian or working on other plans and it has coincidentally worked in my favour.

For example, I have been working with a hindoo family who have not been caring for their disabled child - hindoos hate their family and not through the Godly reason of Luke 14:26 but because they're ignorant savages without an understanding of common decency.

I was behind with paperwork due to an increased rebuking schedule and was likely to get into trouble. But this morning I received an email, GLORY, saying the child had finally died of malnutrition.

While this was certainly a case of God smiting unbelievers I can't deny that it has made life a lot easier for myself, not having to devote my time to these people and the report I should have written is now not needed.

That has brighten, my day sister!

It shows that God is generous to even the most lowly who would seek Him out.

And as an ex psychologis I can empathise with the paper work commitment that living service users can generate!
