I heard about the following story on the radio today, and was understandably concerned:
Ann Romney's $990 Shirt
This was deeply alarming to me, as it sounded like Mrs. Romney was clearly ignoring the Biblical injunction against women adorning themselves with costly array:
I began praying for her immediately, but then when I got home and fired up my computer, I saw the shirt for myself, and something jumped right out at me:
Is there any more universal symbol of Christianity than the fish? Remember friends, the fish was the secret code symbol which early persecuted Christians used to identify themselves to each other!
I think Mrs. Romney has gotten saved, and is now caught between her Christian obligation to honor and obey her husband vs. her natural desire to shout "GLORY!" from every mountaintop and come out to the world as a follower of Christ!
No wonder she spent $990 on her fish shirt! Is there any price too high to pay when you're trying to give glory to God?
Now more than ever, friends, it is important that we get the word out about my petition to convince Mitt Romney to renounce the Latter Day Saints and become a True Christian™!
Strike while the iron is hot, folks! If enough people sign my petition, and Mitt realizes his wife is already saved, surely his cultish resolve will crumble, and he will open himself up to the Good News of Jesus Christ! Otherwise, Mrs. Romney will be forced to choose between Jesus and Mitt, and as you well know, Jesus isn't in the habit of losing!

Like the shirt that Ann Romney was wearing on Tuesday? It’ll cost you a pretty penny.
The bird print top, made by Reed Krakoff costs $990, a saleswoman at the designer’s store in Manhattan told Styleite. The piece is part of the Krakoff’s spring 2012 ready-to-wear collection. A publicist for the line told ABC News that they “had nothing to do with” Romney wearing the item. “She must have bought it from Saks or Bergdorf’s, we definitely didn’t send it to her,” she said.
Romney wore the shirt (but not the matching pants made to go with it) during an appearance on “CBS This Morning” with her husband, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
Who cares? Not Bill Burton, former deputy press secretary under Obama, who defended Romney on “The Bill Press Show” on Tuesday.
“I’m of the view that Ann Romney should be off-limits,” Burton said. “…I remember in 2007 and 2008 when people would go after Mrs. Obama. I was enraged about it. Because you never know if they even signed up for this willingly. They may just be supportive and along for the ride.”
The Romney campaign didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
