Why? Because once again, a Muslim country has proved that Muslims care more about protecting women than we do.
Why is it that we here in America, the greatest country in the history of the universe, can't be troubled to stand up for women the way the Indonesians do?
Yes, yes, I can hear you already asking whether a woman who parades around in a miniskirt isn't just a big whore, and surely responsible for any rape which happens to befall her.
I would remind you, however, that the Bible exhorts us to protect women, as they are the weaker vessels:
Of course a weak-minded vessel can't be trusted to make sound decisions when dressing herself. That doesn't necessarily make her a whore; it's just a natural consequence of being dumb.
Show me a rape victim, and I'll show you a couple of parents, and a national government, and a society, who didn't care enough to make her wear something more modest.

Indonesia is preparing to ban the mini-skirt under its tough anti-pornography laws 'because they make men do things'.
The Muslim country's powerful religious affairs minister said that one of the considerations in its review of what could be considered pornographic would be 'when someone wears a skirt above the knee'.
Minister Suryadharma Ali started a war against the mini-skirt almost as soon as he was appointed to run Indonesia's new anti-porn task force earlier this month.
Parliamentary speaker Marzuki Alle also recently hit out against the mini-skirt, but he targeted female politicians who chose to wear skirts above the knee.
Mr Alle said he was preparing draft rules banning female politicians and staff members from wearing mini-skirts because 'there have been a lot of rape cases and other immoral acts recently and this is because women aren't wearing appropriate clothes'.
He added: 'You know what men are like - provocative clothing will make them do things...
