This is so inspiring, I just had to share it!

Somebody posted this on Facebook earlier today. I've re-posted it on each and every one of my friends' Facebook timelines, and I'm also e-mailing it to everybody on my contacts list. I'm sure you will want to share it with everybody you know.

One day a dad comes home drunk & mad. he pulls out a gun, shoots his wife and then turns the gun on himself. his little girl sits behind the couch crying. A little bit later a police man carries her out and she is adopted by a new family. Her first day at Sunday-school she sees a picture of Jesus on the cross and says to her Sunday-school teacher..."how did he get off the cross?" and the teacher says..."he never did." the little girl argued..."yes he did, the night mommy in daddy died he sat with me behind the couch telling me everything was gonna be alright." 66% of you won't post this, but remember what the bible says, "Deny me in front of your friends and I shall deny you in front of my father." So re-post this, remember God saw you read it.

What a remarkably inspiring story, FM! Thanks for sharing it. I've passed it on already.

Sometimes we forget that anytime a gun goes off and someone lifelessly drops to the floor, our God Jesus Christ is right there watching, telling us ever so softly: "It'll be alright! Have faith in Me!"

When I was a child, I had no greater fear than the loss of my parents. However, whatever trauma that little girl experienced was totally worth it if that's what it took to get her into a Christian home with a family who cared enough to send her to Sunday school.

Brother, the next time some God-mocking atheist yammers about "I found Jesus . . . He was behind the sofa", I'm going to share this very story!
