    Re: SAD PANDA

    Whenever I'm feeling down, some good, hard, physical labor does the trick. While I'm working in the fields, I whistle a tune or think about what Heaven will be like when I get there.

    If you haven't the strength to read, listen to a fine sermon here. That'll buck you up!

    Read the Bible.

    True Christians™ are filled to the brim with joy each and every day, as can be seen from this Godly forum. We have Jesus to thank for that.

    By the way, what is "panda" a euphemism for? Sounds queer to me...

    Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities. 1 Timothy 5:23

    Of course, beer is the new wine.

    Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

    Take a psalm, and bring hither the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.
    Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day. Psalm 81:1-3

    Electrical guitars are also much in vogue for making a joyful noise. And they do lift the spirit something wonderful. After a few beers you won't worry if you don't play very well.

    How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

    This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes.

    I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;

    And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak. Song of Solomon 7:6-9

    Find a goodhearted Baptist gal and your sorrow will be over.
