Why is it called the "World" series when only Americans compete?

It's not just Americans that compete...there are brownies, darkies, and slants that play in the major leagues.A baby is a human being, not a stem cell!

Most of the players are from Central American and Japan. There are even communists from Cuba playing el beisbol.

I'm with Sister Victory. Americans invented baseball (probably with some inspiration from God), and their teams are the only ones that matter in the sport.
Other nations have their own (inferior) games like pelote and kickball and badminton and bezoar stones.
Personally, I don't see what they get out of them. There's nothing like the crack of the bat, the roar of the beer, and the smell of the crowd.

I've always been a Brewers fan, as has my brother...We also like the White Sox (we agree, good guys wear black), the Padres (for obvious reasons), and the Cardinals (also for obvious reasons)
