Friends, there is nothing more distressing to me than going on a vacation and accidentally exposing myself to places, people, and experiences which do not fit nicely into my worldview.

One such site is The D-Day Beaches in Normandy. Another is the Battle of the Bulge. The beaches of Anzio are another.
