We know that the souls of unbelievers remain, after death, in conscious misery until their resurrection when, with soul and body reunited, they shall appear at the Great White Throne judgment and shall be cast into the Lake of Fire to suffer everlasting punishment (Matthew 25:41-46; Mark 9:43-48; Luke 16:19-26; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:11-15). We know that in offering a homeless bum things like money for food, the reality is he will be distracted from the Living Waters (John 4:14), and will suffer for all eternity for it. Really, which is more compassionate: Giving this man an excuse to sit there not working, not contributing to society, or giving this man the Good News that God created Hell just in case he chooses to reject the loving gift of Christ's temporary sacrifice (Romans 4:25)?

These homeless people are like bottomless pits. You give them $100, they'll spend $200 on drugs. You give them $500, they'll spend $1,000 on drugs. If they knew how to manage money, they wouldn't be homeless.

Without Jesus, giving money to homeless people is about as useful as throwing money down a hole. Probably worse. At least a hole doesn't finance Mexican drug dealers.

I find this offensive. And anti-Semitic. But I am not surprised, given the hatred here toward my people. Keep in mind that we are G-d's chosen children. Do you need "Scripture to back that up"?

Jews are charitable and giving. A return on the investment is not too much to ask. I personally would have contributed at least a dollar, with a contract of course for reconveyance.
