BAPTISTS are the only "denomination" mentioned in The Bible. It is all the others that are "branchings off" except Roman catholics - - OK, OK, they branched off of Roman paganism. They have nothing to do with Jesus.

How old are you? No-one is claiming John the Baptist is greater than Jesus and that is not even related to your question, which was about denominations. Denominations are NOT mentioned in The Bible because there weren't any. Now you need to answer a question.

Why did the word Baptist exist? [I can post in Greek if you prefer, Baptist is a Greek word and has NOT been translated into English, rather it's just been left as Baptist (but obviously written out in the Roman alphabet, since that's the one we use)].

I've corrected your spelling of God but am not sure which "god" you meant. Quaoar perhaps? Jupiter? In any event, Christians accept God as revealed in The Bible and follow His example. If you read The Bible you will see what that example is, and learn why it was necessary for Him to send Jesus. What standard do you follow in directing people to a life filled with God?
