    True Christian™ New Years Resolutions

As the fireworks begin to sound in the background, I slowly wind down on the last night of 2013. And I figured, after such a blessed year, how much better can the next one get? Answer: much!

So I decided to start a thread on the many ways in which we are never quite good enough for our Lord and Savior and how we have to continue to strive for Heaven despite being His Elect©..

Philippians 3:14: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

I Peter 4:17-18: 17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

So, share your own resolutions by telling us in what ways are you trying to better yourself for the coming year.

    I vouch to...

#1) Picket and protest more: at abortion rallies and on street corners outside of gay bars, or anywhere the ungodly gather and wish to be left alone.

#2) Spend more time on the phone and on the computer: This is to lobby conservatives and Christian lawmakers in all fifty states to ban anti-christian influences of all kinds, including porn, gay rights, etc. There are no rights but of God, and it is our responsibility to put those in power who will help to usher in God's New Blessed Order of Manifest Destiny©.

#3) Oppose eco-pagan agendas through any means necessary: Only an unsaved© idiot wants to save the planet when Jesus tells us that it's all going to be burnt up come Judgment (2 Peter 3:1-13; Matthew 6:31-33). God is in control, not man. He isn't going to let anything happen to earth before the time, so why should humans worry?

Re: True Christian™ New Years Resolutions

Thank you, Pastor Ed, for starting this wonderful thread. I really like the resolutions you listed. A True Christian™ would do well in 2014 spending more time protesting and lobbying our governments at all levels against eco-Satan policies.

I have a resolution that is, I hope, complimentary to yours. I resolve to identify, pass judgement on, label and call out SIN at every opportunity.

I mention this resolution because so often we all get complacent. Sin is all around us and it takes time and energy to always be telling others about their shortcomings. But, saving souls from sin and Satan is what we are here to do and I'm going to work harder to do just that in 2014.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

      I resolve to:

      • Be more vociferous in my prosthelytizing to the unwashed masses. I will shout longer and louder than my opponents, braying like a demented ass if need be. Acts 10:42
      • Be more committed to having bad science (as they are now taught) removed from our public schools, such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, economics, etc. Psalms 1:1
      • Be more vigilant in helpfully and lovingly pointing out the multitude of sins committed by unsaved trash wherever I go. Proverbs 27:5
      sigpic

      I Kings 7:23

And he made a moulten Sea, ten cubites from the one brim to the other: it was round all about, & his height was fiue cubits: and a line of thirtie cubites did compasse it round about.

New here? Desiring to be pleasing in the eyes of The Lord and His Followers?

Then do as directed by our esteemed Pastors and head on over to the Introductions subforum and make your first post there, friend. Tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Anything else you want to share with us about how Jesus has blessed you is welcomed too.

Are you a hater of God that believes He is a morally bankrupt monster? Read Why, you ask, is God so angry? to see that it is in fact you that is the monster that mercilessly and infinitely torments God.

Stop this relentless torturing of God and accept Jesus today!

Re: True Christian™ New Years Resolutions

I want to do door-to-door recruitment for my local Bible study group. Matthew 18:20 says "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them" so I have to recruit at least one other man besides me.

I will start with ten doors per evening. I live in a distrustful neighborhood, so I suppose many potential members just won't open the door because they don't want to be bothered by a salesman or a Jehovah's witness. However, I purchased a postal uniform on ebay so when people peep through their door viewer they will expect to get an important message (which is what they get!) If that works out fine I may also buy an ambulance uniform.
