    'Shooing' demons

I have been having a look through some of the past postings on this forum and have seen references to 'shooing' demons.

Is this some kind of Landover exorcism ritual?
Can someone please explain what 'shooing' demons entails? Please cite relevant scriptural authority.

    Thank you,
    Jacques.

    In Him no South or North;
But one great fellowship of love
    Throughout the whole wide earth.

    Jacques,

If you will take a look at this, you will have some idea as to what it means:

    Luke 4:41 For example:

41And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

To use the term "exorcism," is a catlick term and is of satan so watch how you put things.

    In Him,

    Walter Brimstone

This is, I suspect, a deliberate proverbial "dumb question," but I shall favor you with a reply. You'll not find the word "shoo" in Scripture, but it is in the dictionary for anyone who can read to find for him/herself:

Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) - Cite This Source - Share This shoo Audio Help /ʃu/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[shoo] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation interjection, verb, shooed, shoo·ing. –interjection 1.(used to scare or drive away a cat, dog, chickens, birds, etc.) –verb (used with object) 2.to drive away by saying or shouting “shoo.” 3.to request or force (a person) to leave: I'll have to shoo you out of here now. –verb (used without object) 4.to call out “shoo.”
[Origin: 1475–85; earlier showe, shough, shooh, ssou (interjection), imit.; cf. G schu]

Mark 16:17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My Name they will drive out demons.

1 Kings 21:14 Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned . . .

      A SPIRITUAL WARFARE PRAYER:
Father, In Jesus' Name, I take the Blood of Jesus and break the power of all witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists, sorcerers, wiccans, pagans, and any other source, and all of their rituals off of us. With the Blood of Jesus, I erase all evil lines drawn on our liver. . .

Well, he is french, so that might explain his inability to understand God's favorite language: American.

Maybe we should teach him a few other terms too....like "scram" or "take a hike, papist."

Useful terms, and I'm sure he's heard them before.

Talk of 'shooing' demons sounds like your trying to chase a dog from your garden. Why not just use 'excorcize'? As far as I am aware, it is not an exclusively Catholic term. I have a pal who is a pastor in a pentecostal church and it's the term they use.
          'Shoo demon' indeed!

Don't try and play word games with us Ali Jacques. You don't even speak proper American.

When are you going to admit to being a papist dog? Nobody buys your story anymore.
