No, it's just the fact that your head's been filled with Christian b*******.

Or maybe some ignore it and turn it into a compliment!

Just like how, on Judgement Day, Jesus is going to ignore your pathetic attempts at repentance and turn you into a lampshade.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

Please God forgive me for what I think I just caught a glimpse of! You are vile and disgusting.
Gather around so that I can read to you from my book of TRUTH. Genesis thru Revelations....Pick one!

Luke 12:5- But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

I'm not sure why Pastor Ezekiel edited that; it's quite true.

Our heads indeed are filled with Christian blessings. Yours could be too, if you'd just open up to Jesus and give up the ridiculous, unfounded rantings of your prized "scientists". They write a "theory" down, and you automatically believe it is truth! Writing something down does NOT make it fact; if it did, Barack Obsama's "Audacity of Hope" would be selling in the NONfiction section, alongside the Bible!

I disagree. BarlowGirl is the most Christian band I've ever heard, and they would be classified as "rock." So would Underoath, Demon Hunter, Skillet, After the Rain, and a lot of other bands I enjoy. What they're doing is comparable to rapping about safety or making a hip-hop commercial out of a public service announcement: they're trying to reach a wider audience with their message.

I'm sorry, I meant to quote you both. Can I interject here? I've been following this argument since it started and I'd like to offer a solution. Just hear me out here: Neither of you are actually debating; you're just going back and forth telling each other why you're the only one who's ever going to be right. QueenArya7, I agree with you on most accounts and admire your open-mindedness and willingness to try new things, but getting defensive against people like Brother Temperance isn't a very effective way of spreading that mindset. You're presenting your case to one who refuses to listen to anyone who doesn't agree with him from the start. I know how easy it is to see him as a narrow-minded, pontificating sexist, but we all come to the truth in our own way, and if we don't discover it for ourselves, rather than having it drilled into our heads by someone else, it means nothing.

Brother Temperance, I know you're a devout Christian and I think it's great that you put your loyalty to God before everything else, but you can't expect people to listen to you if you offend them like you did QueenArya7 when you called her unclean and emo and everything else you said. I think you both need to look at the psychology of this issue and realize you only see what you want to see out of each other. Brother Temperance, I think you see QueenArya7 as a naive and unfaithful sinner, and so that makes her inferior in your eyes. Therefore, you will not listen to a word she says, even though, by all accounts, she has every right to believe what she does. You have that right as well, but if she doesn't want you to invade her beliefs, you shouldn't. Maybe she doesn't know the truth, maybe she does, I don't know. I don't profess to know the whole truth. What I do know is that whether or not she goes to heaven isn't your call. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but God's is the only one that matters. I know you don't want God thinking you're blasphemous because you took it upon yourself to decide who's going to end up where.

At the end of the day, God cares if you gave what you could, deserved what you needed, and tried to be a good person. Maybe a part of that is live and let live, even though these online crusades are hard to stop when your emotions get in the way. Just... I dunno, give peace a chance. It takes all kinds.

Hey, TT forum counselor, your points are worth considering, but you seem to miss the purpose of this forum. We're not here to make people listen to us. This forum is here for the members to praise our Lord, Jesus. It's people like Queenie and her ilk who barge in here and try to make us listen to them. Could you please address that issue and help us protect our forum from the Visigoths?
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

What is the main problem you guys have with heavy metal? is it the lyrics? is it too loud? Believe it or not, it doesn't all pay homage to satanism or hedonism.
                                Having fun yet?
