Do they offer these records in cassette form? I refuse to buy a compact disc player.

Also, are these singers really Christians? I wonder if "power anthems" would grate my already jangled nerves...
A baby is a human being, not a stem cell!

    Psalm 139:19-20
Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God: depart from me therefore, ye bloody men.
For they speak against thee wickedly, and thine enemies take thy name in vain.

I checked online. They appear to only the CD at this time. Doesn't your computer have a cd drive? I thought they all did at this time. I'm sure you could get your friends to loan you one if you really needed one.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

I'm with you Brother, there is nothing like the warmth of that old "magnetic" sound. I prefer 8-Tracks myself.
        Hell's foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise.

Folks, another one I am concerned with is this creature Sandi Patti. Pastor Peters, from what I have heard, That's Amy "Grunt" you are thinking of.
I have heard her sing before (God forgive me) and ahe sounds as if she is grunting.

              In Jesus,

I, too, am an "8 track" person. I wish they still made those.

                  SANDI PATTI •
                  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 1995, shock waves shook the CCM planet. CCM’s queen-of-clean, Sandi Patti, confessed to committing adultery since 1991 with singer Don Peslis. And he was not her first. Christianity Today reports,

“According to several independent sources who at different times were aware of Patty’s activities, she took part in two extramarital relationships, in both cases with married men.” (Christianity Today, Sept. 11, 1995 p. 72)
During much of Sandi Patti’s CCM career, she was committing adultery with married men! When Sandi Patti came out on stage, giving testimony and singing for the Lord, she was committing adultery! Sandi soon divorced her husband and married her adulterous companion Peslis, even though her husband was willing to forgive her and restore their marriage.
PsychoHeresy Awareness writes, "Patty's rising popularity is indicative of the trashed condition of Christians who claim the name of Christ but will not follow the doctrines of the Bible. Marrying a partner in adultery does not make the relationship right. It constitutes a continual condition of disobedience to God. How does one repent of adultery while one continues in an ongoing relationship with a former accomplice in adultery?" (PsychoHeresy Awareness Letter, March-April 1998 pp.1,8).

By the way, Sandi is more popular than ever.

Proverbs 30:20 has Sandi’s name on it:

Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.
                  Proverbs 30:20
                  Come climb my mountains.

Jesus isn't very keen on sarcasm. Or on commies, for that matter. I should thrash you to within an inch of your life, you insolent whelp.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

I'm just amazed that you can get the three letters in 'etc.' arranged properly. In fact, most people get the first letter right 'e', but fail on the second two. Seeing as your odds are 50% of getting it right, its surprising how many people fail.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.
