  • Inspired by Sister Etheldreda

In a recent post, Sister Mary used the statement "Awash in Satan's Waterfall" while encouraging a poster to consider that young girls should be married off as soon as they develop b-r-e-a-s-t-s. Something moved in my spirit when I saw those words, and while at present it is just a poem, I have asked the Lord to give me the musicalness of it so it will be a song. So, I present to you now what Jesus (through Mary) inspired:

    Awash (In Satan's Waterfall)

I felt so wet, my hair was dripping
Through wind and rain, my hope did fall
But through the light that Jesus brought me
I found I was awash in satan's waterfall.

    CHORUS:
I was awash in dirty water
The water had no light at all
It could not cleanse, nor quench the thirsty
Since I was awash in satan's waterfall

I cried out, "Jesus! please come and dry me!"
He said He would, but first things first:
I had to claim Him as Lord and Savior
Then He would send His own cloudburst.

    I said, "O Savior! I am a sinner!
I am not worthy of all Your pain!"
Then in His Mercy, I felt the moisture
When Jesus sent His cleansing, purifying rain.

    (REPEAT CHORUS)

    Christ's cloudburst cleansed me
No longer smelly, With joy bells ringing, I could stand tall
Knowing my Jesus bleached me completely,
No longer trapped in satan's waterfall.

    Friend, are you suffering?
Are you awash in the perils found in satans waterfall?
Just pray to Jesus, He'll take your burden
He'll answer just as soon as on your knees you fall.

    (REPEAT CHORUS)
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

Oh wow, Sister Lytton-Vasey! I think you just inspired another one. The Golden Waterfall of our Blessed Lord Jesus!

I am going back in the closet to write it, with His assistance. I'll ask Him to give you royalties. (you know - like, money. Not William or Harry).

This is truly inspiring, brother! Jesus must be so proud of you right now!
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.
