    The Golden Waterfall

Written by Jesus, inspired by Sister Joanna, penned by me.

    The Golden Waterfall

    1. My soul was dry, (my soul was dry)
So very dry (so very dry)
I walked life's pathway arid and parched.
Withered and thin (so thin, so thin)
I walked on in (on in, on in)
And up to the altar quickly I marched.

    CHORUS:
I held my head back and felt the spray
Just like a waterfall as I did pray
So warm and refreshing, I gave my all
    There under Jesus golden waterfall.

    2. I tasted His mercy (mercy me)
My soul was quenched (so quenched, so quenched)
It covered me over, not a spot was missed.
Drenched in His Shower (so wet, so wet)
I felt His power (wonderful power)
I felt His Grace save me, as my soul was kissed.

    (REPEAT CHORUS)

    3. Friend are you dry? (So hot, so dry)
As dry as I? (I used to be dry)
Come out of the desert of your sin!
Confess all your wrongs (unspeakable wrongs)
And by the end of this song
You'll feel you're in, oh yes, you're in!

    (REPEAT CHORUS)
    Proverbs 21:31 KJV 1611:
“The horse is prepared against the day of battell: but safetie is of the Lord.”

Lord, may I serve my equine brothers and sisters just as I do my fellow man.
    Amen and Amen

This is so beautiful, brother Larry! Oh my word, the imagery is just fantastic!

It reminds me of one of my most favorite paintings in the whole world:

    "Soaking in Glory"
Hello, my name is Mary. I hope to fellowship with you! That is, unless you don't listen to church authority (Deuteronomy 17:12); are a witch (Exodus 22:17); are a homosexual (Leviticus 20:13; Romans 1:24-32); or fortuneteller (Leviticus 20:27) or a snotty kid who hits their dad (Exodus 21:15); or curses their parents (Proverbs 20:20; Leviticus 20:9); an adulterer (Leviticus 20:10); a non-Christian (Exodus 22:19; Deuteronomy 13:7-12; Deuteronomy 17:2-5;Romans 1:24-32); an atheist (2 Chronicles 15:12-13); or false prophet (Zechariah 13:3); from the town of one who worships another, false god (Deuteronomy 13:13-19); were a non-virgin bride (Deuteronomy 22:20-21); or blasphemer (Leviticus 24:10-16), as God calls for your execution and will no doubt send you to Hell, and I have no interest developing a friendship with the Spiritually Walking Dead.

I am so honored to have inspired this, Brother Larry. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Would it be all right if I gave my children the task of setting it to music? Pastor Steve has been teaching Hannah (8) to play his church organ - she is an enthusiastic student - and the boys have fine treble voices. We would of course run it past you for approval before its debut performance before our local congregation. Perhaps, if it goes well, Brother Roper Crossburn might be interested in releasing it, accompanied by the Ladies of Landover on backing vocals?
Vaccinated by the love of Jesus!!!

        Sister,
It would be a blessing to see what the children come up with! I can't wait to hear it.

What a great opportunity to emulate Mary's "Soaking In Glory" graphic by flooding the choir with light! There are different systems, in some a golden light would be the note (or key of) D, but there are different combinations it's not a hard & fast rule just so long as the composition and the performance use the same systems! This is really quite exciting!
