New documents show Trump kept 2 sets of books for his biggest property in Manhattan, pointing to potential financial fraud
Did Forbes make sure to use the set of books that Trump shows when he's applying to loans and not the ones when he's getting his property appraised to pay taxes? You pay more taxes on property when the government thinks the value of the property is greater, thus is makes financial sense to trick the government into thinking your property is worth less than it actually is. Though these artificially reduced values shouldn't be used when appraising his net worth. Forbes should be using the set of books Trump uses when applying for loans.

    Amen!

Trump’s businesses are full of dirty Russian money. The scandal is that it’s legal.

Let’s go back to 1984, when David Bogatin, an alleged Russian gangster who arrived in the United States a few years earlier with $3 in his pocket, sat down with Trump and bought not one but five condos, for a total of $6 million — about $15 million in today’s dollars. What was most striking about the transaction was that at the time, according to David Cay Johnston’s “The Making of Donald Trump,” Trump Tower was one of only two major buildings in New York City that sold condos to buyers who used shell companies that allowed them to purchase real estate while concealing their identities. Thus, according to the New York state attorney general’s office, when Trump closed the deal with Bogatin, whether he knew it or not, he had just helped launder money for the Russian Mafia.

And so began a 35-year relationship between Trump and Russian organized crime. Mind you, this was a period during which the disintegration of the Soviet Union had opened a fire-hose-like torrent of hundreds of billions of dollars in flight capital from oligarchs, wealthy apparatchiks and mobsters in Russia and its satellites. And who better to launder so much money for the Russians than Trump — selling them multimillion-dollar condos at top dollar, with little or no apparent scrutiny of who was buying them.

The Trump Organization has dismissed money laundering charges as unsubstantiated, and because it is so difficult to penetrate the shell companies that purchased these condos, it is almost impossible for reporters — or, for that matter, anyone without subpoena power — to determine how much money laundering by Russians went through Trump-branded properties. But Anders Aslund, a Swedish economist, put it this way to me: “Early on, Trump came to the conclusion that it is better to do business with crooks than with honest people. Crooks have two big advantages. First, they’re prepared to pay more money than honest people. And second, they will always lose if you sue them because they are known to be crooks.”
Trump is a brilliant business man. He knew that if Russians were laundering their money they would be willing to pay far more than market rate for apartments in Trump Towers than the typical buyer using legitimately earned money, since other locations in that area wouldn't allow them to spend their laundered money. He also knew that he wouldn't be caught. It's very doubtful Forbes calculates properties at the amount Trump will sell them for after factoring in his slick negotiating and deal making.

Money laundering more prevalent in real estate than anywhere else

A story today released from the miami herald about how money laundering in real estate is now more common than anywhere else. These wannabes are playing catchup with Trump who has known about it for decades.
Close minded people are just right people who don't want to spend time arguing.

Liberal sites are so slimy when it comes to President Trump. To explain let's go back to Biden's terrible withdrawal from Afghanistan. He made it look like our side was defeated and running for its life.

Trump would have defeated the Taliban and then left as the victor. He was talking with the Taliban during his last days in DC and no doubt would have negotiated a surrender from them before pulling out our troops.

That said, it is so logical the Republican Party would have just now have purged its website of a report on Trump's earlier call for a troop withdrawal from Afghanistan. That Trump a year before the election called for removal of troops from Afghanistan does not explain he would have obtained a victory first. Now liberals are saying the Republican Party and Trump have reversed their positions. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Mr. Mayor, the concern of Republicans for our great friends the Africans Afghans will compel a humanitarian platform to retake the Afghan continent in 2024 with the blood of American children. Trump will ride to victory on the salvation of the African nation.

Our Once and Future President is writing releasing his very first book since stepping back (temporarily) from running the country.

All these people making money off his good name, writing their tell all (lies) books will be put to shame when Trump's $75 (worth every penny, no doubt) Big Book of Presidential Pictures comes out.

It warms me to no end to think of how great the sales will be. Obviously, Jesus will enrich His Chosen Leader through this literary effort.

Do you know if it will be a children's coloring book, Sister Handmaiden? I do hope so - it's so difficult to find suitable art materials for the under-5s.

Alas, no. I hear that it will be a selection of photographs, and that President Trump will be writing the captions himself!

I wonder if Mr. President will make use of any of our informative captions?

I'm excited for this book. I understand that President Trump used a 24 karat gold plated crayon to write each caption. It just doesn't get much better than that!

We here at LBC have always said Donald Trump ranks up there with the world's greatest leaders. Winston Churchill wrote history books. Now our own President Trump is doing the same thing.

The President understands better than most we are becoming a society of visual communication. His books of pictures are ahead of the curve and will be classics in a few years.

"Ahead of the curve", indeed Brother Mayor. While it is true that Our Dear Once andFuhrer Future President has "the best words" (and these are his own words, so you can bank on that) he also has an uncanny knack for visual communication. Who among us was not moved to tears by this image?

In a wealthy city like Freehold, the price is no problem. I'd like to see a copy of this book on living room coffee tables right next to the family Bible.

Oh, yes. It would be a lovely companion piece next to the Bible. The Bible, of course, is long on words but short on pictures, and President Trump's book will be mostly pictures with very few words. A match made in Heaven. (Perhaps literally?)

At long last, there is someone with the courage and vision to discuss what is important in our country today.

Our Dear Once and Future President, Donald J. Trump, has always drawn the biggest and best crowds to his events. The patriotic gathering on January 6, 2021, was no exception.

It's really significant when you consider how few people were there at The Boston Tea Party, or The Gettysburg Address. We know, of course, that President Trump's Inauguration crowds were tremendous, and only the shining white clothing (and faces) of the crowds created the effect that there were empty spaces before the the Capitol Building that day. (I don't know why all those white faces showed up on camera on the Sixth.)

Trump certainly had a more impressive crowd at his inauguration than Joseph Robin Redbreast Biden had at his. And if Obama's swearing in had more people than Trump's, remember how much Blacks loving getting free stuff.

They'll line up for days if you hand them anything thing being paid for by American taxes. But ask them to cool their heels in a voting line and suddenly it's "voter suppression." Honestly, just letting those people vote for free is more poverty-promoting incentivizing. If people really want to vote and have their say in America, then maybe they ought to be willing to pay.

When Trump is properly re-installed, he needs to think about ways we can monetize voting. Remember the parable of the talents!
His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.
