It says honour. It does not say "love." It is perfectly possible to honour and hate someone simultaneously. Do you have any more impossibly stupid, tedious points you wish to make?

Exodus is Old Testament and is correct for the context. Luke is the Word of Jesus and is correct in it's context. You can't see it because SATAN has covered your eyes.

You fail to realise that when you corner a cat you get scratched. You beat your children and they hated you for it. Beating a kid only fuels thier hatred against you, not make them learn. You try to teach a kid by beating him/her they will only stray from you more.

My parents didn't use a rod on me, they used a belt.

No permanent damage, and only when I'd done something seriously wrong.

For minor offenses, they did things like cut off allowance, etc.

Corporal punishment isn't appropriate for every offense, but sometimes it's necessary.

These Liebrals want to make it a crime to smack a child under 4. My mother likes to tell a story about just that (paraphrased):

No, you shouldn't hit a small child for crying, or for doing things that aren't what you want him to do, because he's too young to understand. But when my 2 year old reached a wet, drooly hand toward a hot stove, or an electrical outlet, you can BET I grabbed that hand and gave it a good hard smack! Yes, it hurt, and it made him cry. We don't say black people are inferior. We say that the Bible says that black folks, people from the land of Canaan (Africa), are the descendants of Ham, and were cursed with being servants to other humans as a result of their ancestor's transgression. And we've yet to determine whether women have souls; Eve was made from Adam's rib. Does a rib have a soul?

Only a fool would continue your ways. If you want to see my point go to Washington D.C. and go to the Lincoln monument and publicly shout "Lincoln was a terrible president! We should have kept the African Americans as slaves!"

Lincoln wasn't a terrible president, and I doubt anyone here would say so. However, if you do your research, you'll find that Lincoln wanted to free AND DEPORT TO AFRICA all the slaves. He never wanted Negroes to have equal rights in the U.S.

I never said anything about beating children. There's a big difference between beating and diciplining. I was whipped until I was 16 years old. I did many bad things, but nothing as bad as I see these days. According to your logic, children should have no dicipline at all. Should we let them go to whorehouses, drink whiskey, and smoke crack too? Everything in life has a response. If you break the law, you are sent to jail (unless you have a LIE-beral judge). If you play with a knife, you get cut. If you spray paint the neighbor's house, you deserve to be spanked.

I did it on the Demoncratic National Comittee's website. I've written of it on blogs, and I've delivered public speeches about how Lincoln hated Negros and violated the constitution. Here's a short reference to just that, here on this site.....
