Will the persecution of Christians ever end?
You know, persecution of Christians in American doesn't exist. Just let gay people go on, if they want to be 'saved' they will come to you.

I believe this bill is proof that persecution of Christians is happening. Didn't you read it? A grandmother was arrested simply for "bashing" homosexuals in public. Disgraceful behavior by the police who arrested her.

SHE was persecuting people because of what they do with their lives.

She didn't HAVE to say that stuff in public.

So if a judge sentences a man to life in prison for murder, the judge therefore should go to jail as well for judging the man?

The murderer DID something against the law. The Judge decided he was guilty, with the evidence.

So in your warped and wrong opinion, homosexuality is not a crime?

Do you really believe that reading the words of the 2,000-year-old Bible in public -- the book this country was founded upon -- is a threat or an insult?

If so, you really need to move to another country.

You also do not support the Constitutional guarantees of free expression, which includes political speech and the separation of Church and State.

I personally don't think that religion is something that should be done in public. I think it should be done in a church, hall, or gathering place, or in private.

There's no opinion when it comes to something like this. You're either right or wrong.

Then I assume that means you think it should not be legal to discuss religion in a public place.

That violates the separation of Church and State and impinges upon religious freedom.

Let's look at it from another perspective. Race is also a protected class. Speaking out on race issues, therefore, would also be illegal.

Let's suppose the Klan gets together with a local skinhead group to stage a White Power rally in your town. You and some friends get together and stage a counter-protest. You're non-violent, you stay behind the lines, but you shout some unflattering slogans like, "accept diversity, white power is perversity" or other clever liberal lines.

The police arrive in force to make some arrests. Guess who gets arrested? That's right, YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS.

"Wait," you cry, as you're dragged to the paddy wagon. "We were just exercising our right to free speech! We weren't threatening them, we were just disagreeing with them! Besides, they're the people who are hating someone else, not us!!"

Too bad. You broke the law.

I guess you should have kept your "liberal ways" private. Perhaps in a meeting hall, or convention center.

The blade cuts both ways. When you limit freedom for one group, you limit freedom for all, sometimes in ways you can't imagine.

Exactly. There would be a LOT less arguments, and conflicts.
