Yes, I know. You think you can turn the U.S.A. into your own Vatican City but think again...we have a Catholic majority on the Supreme Court bench so any future theocracy will answer to Rome.

Just to be clear...a few hundred trailer homes surrounding a renovated pig-farm in Iowa does not qualify. There is a big difference between a fenced community and a gated community...besides, the best addresses have beautifully masoned walls from the seventeenth century.

    Bless you, my agitated absaurisologists,
    Father Mo
So... You mean that a bunch of priests molested these government officials when they were young. They then blackmailed these people into reognizing the independence of Vaginal City. They also bribed those that they didn't molest as children. Truly sick...

I think this bill is good. It isn't outlawing xtianity, it's simply to stop hateful xtians like yourselves from going up to people in public and trying to ram their beliefs down ones throat.

Haven't you ever thought how you appear to people, doing thus? Few religions preach as fanatically as xtians do.

Well, as long as you don't mind being arrested when you offend and insult us by wearing your Santaic/Satanic Pentagram in public.

So lesbians outside an abortion clinic screaming, "Eat at the Y," at the True Christian protestors is okay? How utterly discriminatory. I see that free speech only works one way for unsaved LIE-beral trash.

THat's different. Want to know why?

              1) They aren't directly insulting you.
              2) They aren't wearing it to personally offend you; it's what they believe/like.

I wouldn't care if you wore a necklace of a cross, or anything similar, nor would anyone else.

Another anti-Christian thought crime bill has passed the Senate, this one forbidding the presence of Christians at heathen funerals.

A Measure Making Funeral Protests a Crime Passed
                January 29th, 2007 @ 12:43pm

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A bill that would make protesting at a funeral a misdemeanor passed a Senate committee today.

House Bill 205 passed unanimously this morning with a 6-0 vote. The measure --- sponsored by Representative Ron Bigelow --- would prohibit anyone from protesting 60 minutes before or after a funeral or memorial service

The West Valley City Republican says the bill makes activities that have the intent to disrupt a funeral or memorial service a class B misdemeanor. They include: knowingly blocking an entry to or from a memorial service or funeral, creating unreasonable noise or being involved with disruptive activities within 200 feet of a service.

The measure has already passed the House. It will now head to the full Senate for consideration.

What do you want to bet this bill won't include LIE-berals protesting at a soldier's funeral? This bill is specifically targeted at Christian demonstrators.

Not anti-Christian. It stops people in general from protesting at anyone's funeral.

Where does it say it was targeted at Christians? ANYONE going to demonstrate at a funeral is scum.

I'm suppose some cathylicks will get caught up in this as well. They have a habit of protesting at the funerals of suicides.

I've seen footage of LIE-beral demoncrats protesting outside the funerals of patriots who dies in the line of duty. They have even gone to the grave site during the service. I won't even mention them trying to block peole from coming and going to the service. In all of these cases, the police didn't show up. The police were afraid they'd be sued by the ACLU or some other LIE-beral orgainization.

I've also heard of Christian protestors demonstrating peaceably outside an openly gay person's funeral, where the dead person had died of AIDS. These people were being given a Christian burial. Guess what? The police descended on them like they were rioters.

What do these two examples show us? That there is an obvious double standard for LIE-berals when it comes to free speech and the right to peaceable assembly.

That's clearly the implication. Search Joogle for "funeral protests" and find me a page that does not directly reference (or condemn!) the peaceful evangelism of our WBC brethren—you can't, because Christians are the only people with the dedication and integrity to spread their message of love to those who need it most, i.e. mourners. The bill is a direct slap in the face to followers of Christ.

I'm sure you're well aware of this and are just feigning ignorance to bolster your attack on our faith. Otherwise, you're in need of a brain transplant.

That is different. They aren't telling you not to wear a crucifix or other symbolic jewelry in public. And it isn't like I go around screaming to people that they are an abomination and soforth. Wearing symbolic jewelry is not the same as attacking.
And furthermore, you xtians have it easy. Wear a crucifix and what do you get? Nothing.
I HAVE, in the past, had trouble in the workplace and even fired due to wearing of pentacle. You cannot compare the two.

Wow, neither of you really gets it, do you?

First, God HATES people who don't follow Him. Therefore, the fact that you do not follow Him is offensive to us. The fact that you put it in our faces, flaunting it with inverted crosses and the like, is insulting to us.

As you've both said, what matters is not intent, but whether someone is insulted. Guess what? WE ARE. YOU GO TO JAIL.

Of course not! Why would GW Bush go to soldiers's funerals? We all know that God protects His own.

Sure we can. Now days wearing a cross will get you fired, ot beaten to a bloody puly outside in the parking lot. You heathens are so predictable. You're all actively working to kill Christianity, and only lawsuits brought about by heathens stand a chance in court. You talk about persecution, when mooselimbs are driving car bomb into Christian buildings.
