I had to smile. There's a "type" at large right now declaring their compassion for all creatures, seemingly worse than true-blue commies in that at least communists are consistent, yet spurn the little birds? Who had their heads gnawed off? Multiple heads? Imagine the pain. So much suffering. And birds have a higher body temperature than dogs, sort of like overclocking a computer, everything becoming so much more intense.

Now I'm not suggesting the agony quotient should be on an exponential scale, having divided avian capacity for pain by the lesser capacity of mammals or even lizards (which simply grow body parts back if they're bitten off, seemingly unperturbed) but it could be. When my body temperature is raised, for example, I certainly want to be jabbed with things less than I normally do, which is zero, so dividing by 0 supposedly gives ∞ however my aversion when overclocking (recently I had a cold so it's fresh in my memory) is not infinitely greater than normal. But did we hear a word about the birds?

Wonderful Gov. Kristi got good news today. She does not have to trapse through the dusty backroads of South Dakota in visit the savage Indian tribes. They have banned here from entering the tribal nations. This amounts to 20% of her state.

Really, who wants to visit those places where people wearing feathers dancing and whooping around campfires? She has made several trips to Mar-a-Lago and doesn't need to spend her valuable time watching demonstrations of bows and arrows.

I already know how a bow and arrow works. Do they actually do demonstrations? Sounds like a very low order of tourism, but what do I know? OTOH, when the Dakotas were under unified administration, with the chief administrant assigning tasks to the geological posse—looking for flint, say—did they discover now well-known Dakotan uranium deposits to fashion into nukes? Evidently not. A nuke building demonstration would be more interesting, right there on stable reserves of U₃O₈ (some sort of yellowcake, I gather) but they did pick up globs of gold and copper as and when. So there's that.

One of the small acts of kindness that we bestow upon our beef cattle is that we don't name them and teach them tricks before we kill them for food. Sure, most cows get the moniker, "Bessie", but since they're all called that, they never really learn that's their name. It's not like we call them that when they sit up and beg for treats.

I just read of another brilliant stroke by President Trump. It is naming Gov. Kristi to head Homeland Security. The word "Security" means guns. We know Governor Noem is good with guns because she shot her dog. Things are getting better in the U.S. every hour since Trump won the election.

President Trump brought in a public relations genius when he put Cristi Noem head of Security. She continues to project the image he wants, strong and shot first, ask questions later. Currently she is headed to Illinois for some Administration business. The wimpy Democratic Govenor thought he would score some political points by telling the people of Illinois, "Hide your pets."

This kind of remark, of course, projects the gun ownership of Cristi Noem and no nonsense image of our President. She is a winner.

Uppity is right, Brother Dnow. This thing about Wounded Knee, it happened in 1890, has gotten to be ridiculous. Brave soldiers with big guns surrounded a huge number of savages and their families. Can you imagine how frightening their war whoops, tomahawks and arrows must have been? But our heroes attacked the Indians and nearly killed every one. Many soldiers were given medals for their bravery.

But, here comes the current South Dakota Legislature and cancels these medals. Liberals of all stripes jumped in as well. Fortunately, Sec. of Defense, Pete Hegseth had for fortitude to overrule S.D. and reinstate the medals of bravery.

More jets are needed to haul out illegals so Kristi went into the used airplane market and approved a purchase. It was for 10 ten older airplanes and the price was rock bottom. Just now there is a temporary setback in putting them into service flying illegals. None have engines but that will be fixed quickly.
