What happens after that is anyone's guess. A nihilistic postmodern simulacrum of [insert belief system here] would not be surprising. Thinking this joint couldn't get any worse, I looked a bit more. Forget postmodernism. This is post-reality writ large! Very few comments from me will be necessary but there are one or two. Here is the second clip.
00:28 [LEFT] some sort of goth mime event
00:40 [LEFT] leg bandana in a shade of coral called "folly" – in case she forgets her leg?
01:42 [RIGHT] gentlemen offer (unsuccessfully) to chaperone "selfie" person
01:58 [RIGHT] geriatric turn on what I presume is an open mic
02:11 [MIDDLE] shameful display of inverted pentagram
03:18 [EXEUNT LEFT] after the hymns they all go off for a "prayer meeting" or something
"Something" being the operative word. From the preliminaries (and check out the return of the geriatrics for a male duet at 02:31) the somethings would be even more revolting than what we've already seen. So having reviewed, albeit briefly, what this Gospel hall puts on in the name of worship or entertainment or whatever they think it is, visiting Chicago NOT is an easy decision to make. Perhaps Boston would be better?
