Liberals hate the truth because it erodes away their power. Their strength lies in putting a hood over people's heads and feeding them illusion. Take the recent case of Van Jones, for example. The liberals placed him in a position of great power and tried to keep his true self hidden. Well the brave fighters at FOX News (especially Glenn Beck) did a little probing and found that Jones was a self-avowed communist.

The truth was Jones is a communist (reaffirmed by life actions and multiple statements over the years). Once people found that out, there was an outrage and Jones was fired *cough*, I mean "resigned". So in a way, you really can't blame liberals for hating Glenn Beck because his job is to get the truth to the American people and it makes it alot harder for Osambo and the Chicago Mob to sell a plate of BS to We the People....

I must admit to being a little bit surprised by the way you folks have warmed up to Glen(fiddich) Beck. It is not too often a rabid member of the Latter Day Saints gets any love or respect from this group of fringe extremists.

Are you suggesting folks should pay attention to what a devout follower of Joseph Smith has to say about anything?

Mr. Lester, there is nothing wrong with being pragmatic. While the Mormons (and dare I say, Catholics) are heretics and will burn in Hell, sometimes their beliefs and our beliefs match on certain issues and we use them as allies for purely pragmatic purposes. As much as I hate the Mormons, their hard-working efforts to pass Proposition 8 (ban on gay marriage) in California is commendable. Even Catholics like you can make yourselves useful by fighting to ban abortion, among other things.

It's similar to World War II where we had to ally with the Godless Soviets to stop the Nazi menace. By we, I mean us True American Baptists. The Church of Rome sided with their altar boy Hitler.

As a former Liberal who despised Beck, I can tell you most Liberals hate him because he's everything Liberals want to be. I always wanted a man like Beck, but I knew he'd never go for a Dawkin's worshipping heathen like me, so instead I forced myself to like sissy Liberal men sporting "guy liner."

The liberals cannot get over the fact that Jesus forgave him for allegedly raping and murdering that young girl back in 1990. He bravely has not acknowledged this completely groudless accusation, and continues to be a pillar of conservatism.

I find I agree with Beck on many issues. However, I wish he wouldn't cry so much. Seems a little light in the loafers to me. And a mormon to boot? God works in mysterious ways, and if He wants to speak truth through a heathen-mormon-fairy, then who am I to question, Amen?

It is quite possible that Mr. Beck is another genetic dead-end. The over abundance of emotional instability could be due to a defect that natural selection will clear up in due time.

He could be a little more manly when he talks I'll give you that. His eyes always twinkle and he purses his lips when he talks almost like he's thinking "hey Marshall, we should go fishing sometime and see what the cooterline yanks out of the mud". Makes me wonder about that boy sometimes.
Not to mention his white smile is almost other worldly. Everyone who counts should have such a wonderful smile.

It isn't so much what he says but it's the way he says it that gives me pause.No one laughs that much.

Actually, Glenn Beck and I were good friends back when we were both patients at the Happydale Home for the Mentally Disturbed right here in Wacko, Texas. He had a problem with crying back then, too - manic depression kind of does that to you, I guess. Not that I would know, since I only had a mild case of schizophrenia. Anyway, aside from crying, Glenn also liked to hit his head against the wall, which is why he wore a football helmet and straitjacket, and had a padded room all to himself. After awhile, the medication seemed to kick in and he didn't cry all the time. I never seen anyone who could chug so many lithium pills as he did - it's a wonder he didn't catch fire and explode like some of them made-in-China lithium batteries.



Anyway, after George Bush became governor of Texas and cut off funding for mental health, all the patients were released onto the street. After that, I did see Glenn from time to time - he was living in an abandoned car in Sam's Wrecking Yard. Sam let him stay there to sort of guard the place. Glenn got along OK with the junkyard dogs, and shared their food. Sam even taught Glenn some commands, like "sit", "lie down," "roll over" and "fetch!" But since the state was no longer paying for his medication, Glenn stopped taking the lithium and he started crying again all the time. It was so bad that even the dogs were getting depressed. Sam finally told Glenn to move on, and that's the last I ever saw of him.

Well, I'm real glad to see that Glenn has finally made it big. That's what happens when you find Jesus and join a church - you no longer need to be in a mental hospital to meet new friends who share the same political opinions as you do. And Fox News is such a great organization - it brings like-minded folks together.
