If the US does invade Canada, the UN will respond in kind. I hope Americans aren't so arrogant as to believe that the world will stand by as they invade without cause. Last person to try that got attacked (ie, Germany in 1939)

Right you are Lola. Even if France did want to protect us, what could they do? Surrender? Fortunately most Canadians aren't as profoundly stunned as Pierre here is. And our leaders certainly aren't. They understand reality, and that's why America has free access to our resources. Why take by force what we're already freely giving you? And in return y'all print some extra money which we can use to buy cheap Chinese TVs and microwaves. Everybody wins!

I really don't have the time for a HISTORY lesson,but I will help you out.
The combined allied forces did not invade Germany until late 1944.
The UN was not established until many years later.
The UN charter does not have an army,its forces are comprised of the member nations military.

Do they teach any form of HISTORY in Canada? You best bet at this point is to stay far away from the moose head beer and whale blubber.You do not have any extra brain cells to kill off from the use of alcohol and the whale blubber has clogged your veins with fat and is starving you already diminished brain of much needed oxygen

The time required for the US military to invade, conquer and its citizens to repopulate Canada .Is less than a good traffic jam in Manhattan during the lunch hour.

About the UN not having an army, I know. But I dont know if you've noticed, but each country in the UN does have an army.
But, the US army has competent generals at the top who, unlike you, have military training and know that,
a) There would be no point invading Canada, and
b) They would be stopped by the UN. If not a military response, ever heard of a trade embargo? Lets see the US prosper when they cant import or export
