That doesn't make any sense Pierce. Why are you blaming people who work hard and succeed at their jobs for creating poverty? The reason why 2/3 of the world lives below the poverty line is because they have rejected Jesus Christ and are getting their just desserts. They also don't get off their lazy butts and do something about it.

Ever seen videos of those starving people in Africa? What are they doing in those videos? Sitting around. You never see them farming, or studying a book, or hunting animals. They just sit and starve because they are lazy. It's so typical of you liberals to play the blame game and evade personal responsibility.

Finally, your argument about Bush invading Iraq because of its oil is patently absurd. Do you realize how many untapped oil reserves we have in Alaska? We already have enough oil. Or how about the Canadian arctic which is rife with them. Do you see us invading Canada? Oh, and Venezuela and Saudi Arabia have more oil than Iraq....are we invading them? No.

We all know Saddam had WMDs and just because he hid them very well doesn't mean they weren't there. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence!

I honestly don't know what videos about Africa Landover Baptist watches, but they're farming and hunting every day to stay alive, but their government takes all the money and lives in luxury. And of course the US won't invade Canada, it's part of the UN, as is Saudi Arabia.
I'm also sure that Greed is a sin. Most CEO's in the world (though there are exceptions) are very greedy people who only care about their bank accounts. They're not "Christian" in any sense of the word.
Amd, reverting back to another post you made on this thread, why do I care about the US politics? Its the most powerful country in the world, it's best to know whats going on.

I'm not against capitalism. It works fine IN THEORY. But our current system is not "equality and justice for all", as they state democratic capitalism should be, but it's "equality if you're rich". 2/3 of the world lives in poverty to sustain the fewer higher members. That's not capitalism, that's a form of slavery.
If we had a real capitalism, I would support it, but all we have is a corrupt version where a few rich oil company CEO's run the world. That is why Bush was elected, to invade Iraq...not to "uphold freedom" but for their oil reserves. Ever notice they NEVER invade a country without a resource they can use, hmm?

We also tend to have a lot less debt than Americans.
But, the US has advantages over Canada, namely military and, of course, economically.
