      I just wonder if our own Godly GOP might have a secret weapon to use against hindooos? If nothing else, a shotgun loaded with double ott and some rock salt ought to work.

          From the Declaration of Independence:

          "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."

          The signers of the Declaration were all Christians, so this obviously refers to Jesus.

            Simply put: so? Yes, our forefathers were largely Deists and Protestants (was it Protestant, or was that another country?), however, they in no way implicated their own personal religious convictions into our constitution in any way that would limit our right to freedom of religious expression.
