Congressional Prayer Caucus rebukes Obama for not mentioning God

    Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we all make early preparations for the 60th National Day of Prayer this upcoming May, our True Christian™ friends in the Congressional Prayer Caucus have judged righteous judgment and have issued a blistering rebuke to our illegitimate, uppity "president", B. Hussein Obama.

My spine tingles from reading these inspired words, and I could not have said it any better. A link to the original, including all of the signers, is located here (PDF file).

We write today in response to a speech given on November 10, 2010, at the University of Indonesia in Jakarta, Indonesia, in which you stated “But I believe that the history of both America and Indonesia should give us hope. It is a story written into our national mottoes. In the United States, our motto is E pluribus unum – out of many one… our nations show that hundreds of millions who hold different beliefs can be united in freedom under one flag.”

E pluribus unum is not our national motto. In 1956, Congress passed and President Eisenhower approved the law establishing ‘In God We Trust’ as the official national motto of the United States. This motto is also referenced in our national anthem and is engraved on our coins and currency.

Additionally, during three separate events this fall, when quoting from the Declaration of Independence, you mentioned that we have inalienable rights, but consistently failed to mention the source of the rights. The Declaration of Independence definitively recognizes God, our Creator, as the source of our rights. Omitting the word ‘Creator’ once was a mistake; but twice establishes a pattern.

In your speech in Indonesia, you mentioned being unified under one flag. The Pledge of Allegiance to our flag says that we are “one nation under God.” As President of the United States, you are our representative to the rest of the world. By misrepresenting things as foundational as the Declaration of Independence and our national motto, you are not only doing a disservice to the people you represent you are casting aside an integral part of American society.

John Adams said, “It is religion and morality alone, which establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand.” If Adams was right, by making these kinds of statements to the rest of the world, you are removing one of the cornerstones of our secure freedom. If we pull the thread of religious conviction out of the marketplace of ideas, we unravel the tapestry of freedom that birthed America.

As members of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, a bi-partisan group of 68 Members of the United States House of Representatives, we are dedicated to preserving America’s religious heritage and protecting our religious liberty. We respectively [sic] request that you issue a correction to the speech you gave, as it does not accurately reflect America and serves to undercut an important part of our history. We are willing to meet with you to discuss this further if you would like. As President Ronald Reagan warned, “If we ever forget that we’re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”
    II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Rushdoony

We all know Obama is a Secret Muslim and he didn't want to mention God because he would've used his native Arabic and said "Allah".

Is it possible that Obama is so entwined in Satan's web of evilness that were Obama to invoke God or our Savior, Jesus Christ, that the very ground beneath his feet would open up and vomit would spew forth and sweep away Obama's corruption ??

I'm delighted to have come across this Godly thread tonight. The picture of our founding fathers and our real Father warms my heart. Thank you, thank you.

him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

The rebuke Obama is very justified. Apparently, a text of the speech notes that he used the word, God, only four times in the speech.

If this is not the behavior of an atheist President, I don't know what is.

An inspired letter and a beautiful picture.

Does anyone know where I could buy that? It looks like something I would like to hang over the couch.

GOD bless these patriots for refudiating Obama.

I think from now on it would be a good idea to have a standardized test that all politicians must take to affirm their belief in GOD and knowledge of the Bible before being allowed to take office.

Would you really want someone like Obama mentioning God anyway?

It's a scientific fact that a Muslim would just be insulting Him anyway.
