Friends, I'm in a quandary.
For a while, the Tea Party and the Religious Right were two different subsets of the Republican Party.
Now, the Tea Party has merged with the Religious Right and absorbed the Conservative Movement, and Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck are among their de facto leaders.
So, what should they be called? I don't want to say "Tea Party" only, because some folks may not yet realized that they are pretty much all conservative Christians.
I don't want to say "Conservatives", because some freaks might think of that pervert Barry Goldwater.
I like "Tea Party Christians", but I'm not sure that's quite right, either.
What do you think? "ThEocrAcy Party"? Too "733+"?
