In terms of military power, there is a level of equality at the top, America is only judged more power (by arrogant ignorant Americans, mainly) because they invade smaller countries without power to fight back, but only to cause trouble, like Iraq and Afghanistan (don't mention Vietnam). Do you see America messing with North Korea? China? No, their next target is Iran, but is that really a surprise? They have the oil, not North Korea! So North Korea can develop nukes all it likes! See what has become of military? It is frankly arbitrary. You don't attack a country with nuclear technology, look at the cold war. The American's had to surrender to the Russians, (blame JFK) because in the end they thought they might be a little more crazy then themselves. God has given America no outstanding favour in this respect.

America is also laughably not the most Christian country in the world. Just look at the way it was founded! A SEPARATION of church and state!!! That means the church doesn't even get an official say in the state by THIS COUNTRIES CONSTITUTION!!!!!

You all might live there, but don't get deluded.
The United States has the largest GDP of any economy on the face of the earth. When the US economy sneezes, the rest of the world gets a cold. By measure of GDP-PPP (per capita - purchasing power parity), the US beats Japan by a long shot.

What you fail to comprehend in any economic comparison is that the Godly American military is the last bulwark of freedom and the last remaining superpower on earth. It ensures (like the British Empire did in the Nineteenth Century) the free flow of goods and services in the world economy. If little pissant countries like Luxembourg and Norway were to pay their fair share of policing the world from rogue nations, you would see their GDP per capita tumble.

By any measure, North Korea is a failed state propped up by foreign aid. It's leader commits nuclear blackmail to obtain it. Much of the foreign aid comes from China (who fears an uncontrolled refugee problem should North Korea collapse).

Before you get real excited about China overtaking the US economy, you should again do your homework (and stop listening to your LIEberal professors). China is suffering from high unemployment rates, high inflation, structural problems in its banking system, and legacy price controls still in effect from its communist history.

        Get with Jesus, Son.

Willo, if I may call you that, The United States has the largest GDP of any economy on the face of the earth and within the next 40 years, China will. Interestingly, China is in a position which historically has always lead to world war (germany, japan). They have acknowledged this though, apparently. They are looking to not make the same mistakes.

I never said Japan or Norway were on a par with America's GDP, rather, their individuals are the richest on earth, and their quality of life is better then anywhere on earth. It is a different type of richness, you know that.

Falso, if I may call you that, anyone on earth who is rich is rich ONLY because God has Blessed America above all others. All wealth derives from America. Even the rich chinks you refer to have their savings in U.S. Dollars.

Without America, there is no world economy. Jesus has made it so for the past 200+ years, and He has no plans to change course.

Dear friend, take a look at this passage from Romans, which was written after God had sent His Son to the world:

Romans 9:22-24: [What] if God, willing to shew [his] wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

Even after Christ's earthly ministry, God had no problem picking favorites. The vessels of wrath may whine about how unfair and politically incorrect it is, but we vessels of mercy don't have to care.
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

America is still number one in GDP, you can't fight that number no matter how many times you lie.

Pure GDP per capita does not adjust for the cost of living differences.

PPP does not reflect the value of economic output in international trade, and it also requires more estimation than GDP per capita.

And America is still ousted by God's favoured Luxembourg on PPP, too.

Now I see you are grasping for straws, engaging in wonderland croquet (by moving the hoops), offering sophomoric excuses, and behaving like a troll.

You were the one that put forth the following assertion:

… their individuals are the richest on earth, and their quality of life is better then anywhere on earth.
That is why you need to adjust for purchasing power rather than pure per capita GDP.

Yes, the PPP adjustment does account for the effects of international trade. If I can buy an item, service or commodity cheaper because of it that increases my purchasing power (and that includes the effects of tariffs and import duties).

The fact that you would include Luxembourg in your argument is a joke. The country has a population of less than one half million people, is about the size of my back yard, has a military of about 800 people, rare (if any) budget deficits, low inflation, and an economy dominated by banking and international financial services. You being the self proclaimed economic analyst, perhaps you would like to advise the UN on how to export that economic model to the rest of the world's economies.

As long as you are nitpicking, Freehold Iowa will beat Luxembourg any day.
