That's a trick question. They don't have any.

But seriously, USA is 12th on HDI, 2nd on PPP, 9th on GDP pure, not exactly the favourite in terms of statistics.

But America is such a punished nation, I mean, it failed in vietnam, it got a CATHOLIC!!!! CATHOLIC!!! Elected as PRESIDENT! (That means people in your family were ruled by a CATHOLIC like some kind of Italian family) natural disasters, poverty. Now it even has a Woman running for top position, I mean, what does she do when her emotions kick in? Give other nations the silent treatment and the cold shoulder? Will that work in international politics?

Can you find a nation more successful than ours? We are the richest, most influential country on the planet with the greatest military in history. We are also the most Christian nation on Earth. Coincidence? Of course not!
However, you may have noticed our international influence has been slipping a little bit and there is a possibility of a recession. You also may have noticed more and more Americans are turning their back on God. Coincidence? Of course not!
Once Mike Huckabee is elected president and replaces the Constitution with the Bible, there will be a resurgence of American power and influence as we start pleasing God again!

You conveniently failed to mention what happened to your beloved Luxembourg on the contrived scale of HDI.

The fact of the matter is that the HDI was developed by a towel head from Pakistan and lovingly adopted by the Marxist/Socialist leaning United Nations. Take a look at the countries that have high HDI rating and you will find stagnant high tax and low growth rate socialist countries.

I must say that I was tempted to vote for Ron Paul. I would just as soon withdraw all our troops and close all our military bases around the world and just let everyone fend for themselves. I would love to have this year's $630 billion in military expenditures back in my pocket and raise my HDI. Unfortunately, history has shown that the likes of Neville Chamberlain and his fellow Queslings will continue to arise and plunge the world into chaos. America twice saved the world in the last century and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. America is truly God's chosen and favorite nation.

I Believe Saddam was using those Greek tactics both times; you see how well they worked.

There are certain philosophies and tactics that are timeless from both the Greeks and Chinese (Sun Tzu) but there are not any from the australiens (unless cut and run counts but I believe they are just copying the frogs and eyetalians).
