There is absolutely no support in the scripture for labor unions. All they do is to increase inflation, harass job creators and put the labor market into a perpetual war. Unions in general have poor understanding about that businesses might have to cut down in troubled times with decreased revenues. It is simple impossible for a company to pay normal salaries if the revenues are 70 percent of normal. The only viable option is thus to fire 30 percent of the workers, causing mass unemployment.
Any company want to keep their best workers. If they are allowed to pay out 30 percent less without being harassed by union thugs, they are able to walk through the crisis without losing any skill at all.
Workers who are paid less are free to complete their income by starting their own business. That way we will have a nation of entrepreneurs instead of proletarians. We will also be able to keep the economy running regardless of global crises:
