Obama Doesn't Want American Soldiers To Know This
Since the founding of the U.S. military under George Washington, chaplains have had the duty of ministering to the spiritual needs of troops who come to them for counsel, instruction, or comfort. For their reward, they will be persecuted with court martial, imprisonment, and dishonorable discharge.
But friends, that's not enough for our muslim president. He will go so far as to criminalize the one-on-one private conversation between friends. All that's needed is for an atheist to claim a soldier said something about their faith that led them to think they were being encouraged to know the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ, and they will face a court martial and dishonorable discharge from the military they serve with love and pride.
PROBLEM WITH CRIMINALIZING CHRISTIAN FAITH IN MILITARY
During the Republican National Convention, Florida Senator Marco Rubio proclaimed: “We are special because we’re united not by a common race or ethnicity. We’re bound together by common values . . . that almighty God is the source of all we have.” And furthermore: “Faith in our Creator is the most important American value of all.”
This value, this unity, this faith is the only thing that keeps our nation Great. It is the only thing that keeps our nation Safe.
But there is a growing threat to the security of our Godly Country.
In the 1990s, about 8% of Americans claimed “none” as their religion. Then, in 2007, the Pew Forum found that the percentage of nonreligious Americans had doubled to 16%. In 2010, Putnam and Campbell’s national survey put the percentage at 17%. In 2011, the General Social Survey reported it at 18%. This year, the Pew Forum bumped it up to 19%. (Anyone see a pattern here?)
Then, according to the 2012 WIN-Gallup International “Global Index of Religion and Atheism,” a whopping 30% of Americans describe themselves as nonreligious. So whether we’re talking 16 or 19 or 30%, we’re talking tens of millions of Americans who hate Jesus more than any other historical person.
How long before our nation will rid itself of the Divine Intervention that gave us our freedoms in the first place?
THE NECESSITY OF KEEPING JESUS IN THE MILITARY
A few years ago, the Army noticed that some soldiers fared better than others following multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Some soldiers were spared the temptation to commit suicide and succumb to other stress-related excuses. One reason, says Brigadier General Cornum, is that people who are inclined toward spirituality are more resilient to the stresses in life, and less likely to cry like little babies when times get difficult.
"Spiritual people have decreased odds of attempting suicide, and... spiritual fitness has a positive impact on quality of life, on coping and on mental health," says Cornum, who is director of Comprehensive Soldier Fitness.
In response, the U.S. military has provided all kinds of comprehensive resources for the spiritual and physical health of our men in uniform. For example, on May 13, 2010, about eighty soldiers, stationed at Fort Eustis while attending a training course, were punished for opting out of attending one a required Christian concert.
The Department of Defence has allocated at least $125 million in tax money to develop the Army's Comprehensive Soldier Fitness program and its necessary "Spiritual Fitness" test, a mandatory test that must be taken by all soldiers. It has sacrificed at least $30,000,000 to build and operate a mega-church at Fort Hood to glorify Christ and appease the wrath of a jealous God in order to keep our soldiers safe.
This is of utmost importance because the trend is scary. As of today, 21% of the men and women in our military define themselves as atheists or having no religious preference. That's one out of every 5 soldiers mocking God, and daring Him to unleash His Full Justice on our society!
