It makes me so mad when the media picks on a fellow Republican politician.

In an interview, Governor Palin made the simple point that liberals are bent on destroying Christian holy days that have existing since the beginning of the faith. She said besides Christmas, they are trying to destroy Easter, a traditional holy day Jesus himself celebrated by telling stories to children.

The host made fun of her and so do liberals in the blogosphere, saying
Easter began after the Resurrection.

What do they know about it? Were they there? Governor Palin is a devout Christian and has attended church and Sunday School since she was a child. I would accept her version of history before that of any know-nothing liberal.

That liberal Kilmeade interrupted the Godly, destined to become our next president, Sarah Palin with "It celebrates his death and resurrection from the dead. Now Sarah, tell me how can Jesus celebrate his own death before he died?"

Apparently Kilmeade has never touched, let alone read, a Bible. Otherwise he would have known Jesus is all knowing (Psalm 139:2-6; Isaiah 40:13-14) which includes Him have full knowledge of the future!

At first I was confused by this thread because it did not seem to make logistical or chronological sense to me but now I understand I had an accident and thinking is more work my head is shaped differently. You used simple words and that made it easier for me.

Earlier this year I made a list of all of the verses in the Bible that had only one syllable words I wish they were all like that there were some good ones like:

And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

and

Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.

and

Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?

and

But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

and some others but I had them on a sheet of paper that I used to wrap some shrimp heads before I buried them in the yard that keeps the dog from digging them up.

P.S. I accidentally shot my dog a few months ago so I do not need to wrap shrimp heads any more there are raccoons though.

My own family celebrates the murder of Jesus. We pick a name from the 'Hat of Justice' (used to choose unbiased punishment and gifts) and that child is placed on a cross, where he/she remains for a week. During this time, the family has a barbecue and all sorts of games, while the person on the cross is not permitted to join in. All they can do is thank people as they pass for ignoring them, not feeding them and for throwing bone and gristle at them, just like Jesus! The final day, we have the 'Day of Sin' where the family exposes Biblical sin. The goal being able to identify the sin and the related verse. The day culminates in 'Bearing the Cross of God Walk' where the strongest of the children, attempt to pick the child on the cross and walk with it. The one that walks the farthest, gets an extra slice of pie.

Then the child is removed from the cross and is placed in a cave. Massive boulders are rolled in front of the cave, blocking it. Food and trinkets are placed on the boulders every day as gifts for the child. Three days later, we check to see if God loved the child by moving the boulders.

Thank you for pointing this out this story, Brother Johny. Liberals want you to celebrate anti-American holidays like Labor Day, Martin Luther King's Birthday, and Ramadan. Vice-President Palin is so right when she says that Democrats are Hell-bent on destroying traditional Christian all-American holidays like Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, Mother's Day and the 4th of July. That's not only because liberals hate Jesus, but also because they hate capitalism.

Fact is, American holidays are a very important part of the Godly free-market economy. Easter is when The Lord commands the American people to buy Easter eggs, candy, baskets, bunny costumes, chicks, greeting cards and new clothes for the sunrise service.

However, I have to admit that in the past, Easter wasn't one of our most lucrative marketing opportunities. Certainly Christmas was better thanks to all the war toys. Sales improved considerably once we got the law changed to make it easier for toddlers to get a concealed carry license - nothing will bring a smile to your child's face on Christmas morning better than a Glock 9mm pistol with a 13-round cartridge plus a box of high-powered shock ammo.

But I'm happy to report that things are looking up for our Easter sales. We've got some great new Easter products that are sure to be better sellers than those lame gay-looking bunny rabbits, and our factories in China are already churning out stock in anticipation of a great holiday sales season at Wal-Mart.
