Umm-- are you suggesting that we use e-readers? Because we're already online now. I can't read the posts on this forum and play around with an e-reader at the same time. Besides, I love the feel of a real book in my hands.


The Bible is best, of course, but there are many fine works out there with uplifting themes. I even read science books when I want to laugh. Being as firmly committed to the Bible as I am, I never worry about encountering anything that can refute the Bible.


You see, it can't be refuted because it's from God. God is all powerful, so no power can disprove God's Truth.

I really got mad today. I went into one of those awful costume shops in another town near here where they were selling Halloween stuff. Every year I survey what Satan-like things are going on.

In this shop there were masks of Donald Trump. I told the shop owner he had better take those off the shelves because after the election Federal Officials would be calling.

Goths enjoy Halloween because it is a time they can be themselves without getting a lot of negative comments and reactions. There is no orgies, drugs, kidnapping children, swearing fealty to Satan or sacrificing children. Most Goths aren't even home on halloween. We actually go out to concerts or goth clubs as there are usually a lot of big events on this date.

Presumably, that is because everyone else thinks you are dressed up in your absurd costumes as a joke and no one throws dead cats at you.

Halloween is not Satan's birthday. It is a sabbat to honor the dead and mark the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter. It is a Celtic holiday and has nothing to do with Goth, Satan or Satanism.

Since I have backed my post up with evidence and facts, the burden of proof therefore shifts to anyone who disagrees. If somebody comes on here and manages to refute my evidence then the burden of proof shifts back to me. But it doesn't matter, since goths are all liars who have no evidence anyways.



Um, words can change meaning in 1500 years or so. Besides, I don't think the ancient Goths dressed like modern goths. Fishnet stockings would get pretty cold in northern Europe, don't you think?
